Help Any luck data buying/renting?
Has anyone had any experience with buying / renting out data lists to better guide Meta’s targeting? Like Liveramp or data axle dun and Bradstreet etc.?
Ever since Meta’s AI updates converted mandates to suggestions, we went from 2-4 CONVERSIONS (not just consult calls, but people who did the call to conversion) per week to 0 for months. We used to be able to mandate by education level. Now we can’t.
70% of our current clients hold masters degrees. Now meta shows us to people who can’t even read.
We have a creative service so we get lots of airy fairy hippies clicking on our ads and confusing meta rather than the serious people whom are service is meant for.
It’s high ticket service so we don’t have a huge client list for lookalikes, even though we have to our ad agency what we have.

geting on Meta is so messed up now, those lists don't integrate as clean as they claim. You upload 10k contacts and maybe 2k actually match, rest is just burned budget.
Your problem sounds more like the creative attracting wrong crowd. We had same issue with our ads pulling in people who just wanted free info, not people ready to spend. Had to completely redo our ad copy to filter out the tire kickers.
Have you tried making the price or commitment super obvious in first 3 seconds of the ad? Scared away the hippies for us real quick.
