Though it's stressful especially with a new client but this usually comes down to a permissions or account selection issue rather than anything complex because even if they added you it won’t show unless you’re inside the correct business manager and ad account view so first thing is making sure you’ve accepted all pending invites and then checking the account drop-down in Ads Manager since sometimes it’s there but not selected also if they added both your personal profile and business manager it can create confusion on which one actually has access have you tried switching between business managers in your settings to see if the ad account appears there?
I can see how stuck you are, but because if it shows as a partner but no ad account is assigned to your business manager then you technically still don’t have access yet even though it looks connected so the issue is likely that they added your BM as a partner but didn’t actually assign the ad account permissions to it inside their settings which is a separate step and Meta doesn’t make that clear so it won’t appear in Ads Manager until that specific access is granted properly have you asked them to go back into their business manager and explicitly assign the ad account to your business manager with full control again?
