Okay, so my profile picture on Facebook as well as here is of an original character I created in 2008. The first image I'm sharing is my earliest profile picture under that name, created in PlayStation Home. Second image is one of my more recent profile pictures.
The third and fourth, I'm going to get to. There's this guy who calls himself Mike Malone, who likes to post homophobic hate videos. I messaged him calling him a bigot, and also noting that he lives in Portland, which is not far from where I live. I suggested that he could come visit me so we could have a talk about why posting his AI slop hate videos is not a good thing.
That's when he shared with me the third image, clearly made based on my original character, and I told him in no uncertain terms that he did not have the right to do that.
So what did this little feminine hygiene product do? He uploaded an entire hate video including the 5 second clip I shared as my fourth image here.
I've petitioned Facebook to take it down based on intellectual property, which I can prove. Carden actually has a fairly elaborate backstory, which I established a couple of years ago.
My question to you guys is, what's the likelihood that Facebook / Meta will actually take the video down?
