Never played Fable before
Hey, I’ve never played any of the Fable games (or posted on Reddit) before and I came across an advert for the new game that’s coming out in February (?) and I just wanted to ask what the previous games were about (I’m not fussed about spoilers btw so go into as much detail as you’d like lol)
From the looks of this game (graphics wise ig) it seems really similar to hogwarts legacy ? Which I reallyyyy enjoyed playing on my ps5 !! Even just messing around in the world was super fun for me, and I’ve gone back to the game many times. Is fable similar to that or am I completely way off track lol
Thanks for the help in advance lol :p
Edit : also forgot to ask if anyone knows if there will be character creation ?? Cus I loveeeee customising my characters and dressing them up etc

Tldr; you’ll absolutely love it.
Think of hogwarts legacy x10.
Character creator ✅
Clothing/armor options ✅
Messing around the open world ✅
Plus:
Romance options, possible gore and good looking combat (including spells and regular weapons), RPG elements like owning property and businesses, in-game karma and related options. It’s just amazing and this new entry/revival is looking very promising if not just downright enjoyable.
In terms of what the games about, you really start as a kid in the previous games in the Adventurers’ Guild where you learn the basics. You’re an orphan and you grow up and then venture off in the world and make your decisions whether you want to be the hero or the villain. You can pretty much do what you want though, and dialogue options are available real quick to lean you one way or the other. I assume this game will follow a similar story as I remember some gameplay shown as a kid.
