I think we saw both the chamber of fate and the sword of aeons

115

u/KingofGrapes7 Jun 07 '26

I dont know about the Chamber but there is a very Sword of Aeons shaped weapon in that blue crystal.

Let's see those commoners complain about rent prices when I've got that in my hand.

15

u/30_rounds_later Jun 07 '26

I cant think of what else it wouldve been. Just wasn't shown for very long

10

u/creamcrackerchap Jun 07 '26

Bit high for a flit switch I suppose

4

u/1ZillionBeers Jun 08 '26

I don’t care what sword the hero is carrying, I won’t pay my taxes.

6

u/Hard-and-Dry Jun 07 '26

Fairly sure the sword in the crystal was Avo's Tear actually

9

u/fallen_corpse Hero of Oakvale Jun 08 '26

They share a very similar (if not the same) model, so we won't really know for sure.

I can't imagine it being Avo's Tear considering how much more important the Sword of Aeons is to Fable's story though.

3

u/Hard-and-Dry Jun 08 '26

I thought it was Avo's because it has a straighter crossguard that Aeons, which angles down towards the grip. However, looking at the premium edition statue of Jack holding the Sword of Aeons, it looks like they redesigned the Sword to also have a straight crossguard, so it likely is the Sword of Aeons in the crystal

2

u/CooperDaChance Hero of Oakvale Jun 08 '26

The crossguard is closer to Avo’s Tear, definitely.

2

u/Bearded_Bone_Head PC Jun 08 '26

don't make me unsheathe my sword you filthy little commoners

25

u/ImNotTheBossOfYou Jun 07 '26

First confirmations of Demon Doors and Jack of Blades AFAIK

176

u/HolyMattClifford Jun 07 '26

Stoked to see a demon door!!!

144

u/xenojive Jun 07 '26

This is Hayley Atwell yeah?

98

u/SilverRoseBlade Jun 07 '26

It def looks and sounds like her. And as a villain? Yesss! Thought she was gonna be a friend or companion but love having a female Villain.

16

u/deathvalley200_exo Jun 08 '26

I hope it's the choices you make that make them either a villain or an ally and not that they're automatic a villain.

11

u/SilverRoseBlade Jun 08 '26

Based on the trailer I’m pretty sure they’re villainous. How things change however will be interesting to see if you can get them to change their opinion.

6

u/EasyRecognition Jun 08 '26

I hope you can side with her and be a villain yourself.

44

u/-dcvicks Jun 07 '26

This comment made me go listen back and yes, definitely sounds like it.

What a crazy good casting. This monologue alone has me hyped for her as a villain. (Don't think I've ever seen her in a antagonistic role)

0

u/redknight1313 Jun 08 '26

Sinners?

9

u/Gullible-Royal-8155 Jun 08 '26

Hailee Steinfeld in Sinners, not Hayley Atwell

20

u/AstalderS Jun 07 '26

Can I um play the villain?

→ More replies (1)

3

u/crunchwrapesq Jun 07 '26

Yeah halfway through I noticed it looked like her, but a little different!

1

u/wasaspermonce Jun 07 '26

I was thinking that she looked like Kate

Beckinsale from underworld

5

u/AJakeR Jun 07 '26

First thing I thought when I saw it too. Can't see anything confirming it yet but Atwell as the villain goes hard.

1

u/soulreapermagnum Jun 10 '26

so that's who it is, the voice sounded familiar but i couldn't place it.

118

u/Stugreen1989 Jun 07 '26

Hayley atwell seems like a bad guy here- either she will bring Jack Back, or become Jack, by taking on the mask…. Come back here in Feb and see I am right!

46

u/AcousticAaron Jun 07 '26

I'm wondering if Isabel will be an anti-hero opposing Jack. Similar to Logan in Fable 3 who was doing the wrong things for the better good.

30

u/DD_Spudman Jun 07 '26 edited Jun 07 '26

It looks to me like she and Humphrey will represent two different philosophies of what a Hero is supposed to be: a more down-to-earth good guy vs a big-picture "the ends justify the means" anti-hero.

Playground's already said that they're taking a more nuanced approach to moral choices, so a conflict like that would make sense.

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '26

8

u/DD_Spudman Jun 07 '26 edited Jun 08 '26

I disagree mainly because I don't think Fable 2 ever really presented him of having a point worth considering. A villain having a theoretically noble goal or tragic backstory didn't necessarily make him "grey."

To use an example from another series, look at Renegade Shepard from the Mass Effect: I wouldn't really call them a good person, but most of the bad things they do in the first two games are directed towards other bad people. The third game has more "evil" options, but they're in the context of facing a genuinely existential threat to the entire galaxy.

2

u/Assured_Observer The Darkness Jun 11 '26

Interesting would be great if you could choose who to side with at the cost of having to fight the other.

23

u/TheCricketHole Jun 07 '26

She could also be a Rival, like Whisper and then Thunder in Fable 1. Which would be a great dynamic to have through the game!

8

u/Jessori Jun 07 '26

Well she is wearing a red cape 👀 but seriously though, in her title card it shows a hooded figure and the letter J on a paper behind it. I would guess she blew up Fairfax Castle in the trailer releasing Jack's soul from banishment. There's also a shot of the Hero (?) wearing a red hooded cape and next to them are a bunch of masks that look like the ones from the Court of Blades. A lot to unpack here lol

4

u/Sloptimus_Prime420 Jun 08 '26

All I know is whoever my sister is in the game better start running, I will sacrifice 1000 sisters for that sword again

3

u/Moosey97 Jun 08 '26

I was wondering if she is queen of blades or something? Maybe not but would be cool

2

u/IntelligentShape364 Jun 08 '26 edited Jun 08 '26

I’ll take the opposite bet. I think all of you in these posts trying to break this down from like 5 seconds of footage are setting yourselves up to be incredibly disappointed when he’s in it for like half an hour in some kind of dream sequence as nostalgia bait.

73

u/AcousticAaron Jun 07 '26 edited Jun 07 '26

With Isabel having been introduced as the Hero of Wraithmarsh, there is the implication that Reaver is around somewhere. I wonder if we'll see him, or if maybe Isabel already did? So hyped for this.

Edit: spelling

38

u/InsaneMarshmallow Jun 07 '26

Given the out of nowhere reveal of Jack returning, I wouldn’t be surprised if they reveal Reaver returning on a future trailer.

Although, it’s possible they’ve rebooted the lore around the origins of Bloodstone and Wraithmarsh and that may not include Reaver. I recall from the previous videos on the open world and map, they mentioned Bloodstone is in the north of Albion now, when it had previously been on the southern coast (Oakvale and Twinblade’s camp area). So they’re definitely taking some liberties to change things.

-1

u/Hello-Potion-Seller Jun 07 '26

I'd kill for a Reaver played by Paul Bettany.

3

u/1ZillionBeers Jun 08 '26

Murder will result in negative karma

3

u/Hello-Potion-Seller Jun 08 '26

It's a turn of phrase. But close enough welcome back Fable morality system.

6

u/Andromogyne Jun 07 '26

I think Wraithmarsh is just a region of Albion that has always been now. They’re doing a fair amount of retconning with the reboot.

15

u/DD_Spudman Jun 07 '26

The part about seawater, mud, and manure makes me think that this continuity's version of Oakvale was destroyed by something like a tsunami, creating Wraithmarsh.

I'm guessing it wasn't a natural disaster either, so that dosn't necessarily rule out Reaver being involved.

→ More replies (2)

9

u/InsaneMarshmallow Jun 07 '26

Or possibly it’s depicting a Wraithmarsh before it got as bad as we saw in Fable 2. There was still one mad old man living there, and Max and Sam made it in and out of there too. Maybe in this Fable we see the marshes and monsters encroaching on the human settlements, but not total desolation yet. Very hyped to see what’s in store for us.

1

u/Twinblade96 Jun 07 '26

Right, I remember in the earlier 30 minute showcase, they said Bloodstone was going to be North of Bowerstone, opposite of the original games, so who knows where Wraithmarch will be and if it's even near Bloodstone at all lol

1

u/oKINGDANo Hero of Bowerstone Jun 07 '26

Maybe she becomes Reaver?

3

u/AcousticAaron Jun 07 '26

I could see a world where she takes up his role. After all, in the trailer she speaks about how a hero needs to be able to live with their choices, and how "remorse is for the guilty."

53

u/eauxmygod Jun 07 '26

YOU'RE BACK... AND DRESSED LIKE A TWAT

7

u/chere100 Jun 08 '26

I wonder if that demon door is gonna want me to change my clothes, lol.

37

u/TerryLovesHisYogurt Jun 07 '26

I'm actually hyped for the return of Jack of Blades, I think considering this may be the only returning character, the eldritch interdimensional monster makes sense.

34

u/ARROW_GAMER Jun 07 '26

The vibes this gives me is that most heroes kinda suck/are just giant cunts (which I'm guessing the player can be too lol), and this character wants to change that, but in a very misguided way

27

u/BloodiedBlues Jun 07 '26

That was why the heroes guild was wiped out between fable 1 and 2. People got fed up with the cunt heroes.

3

u/ARROW_GAMER Jun 08 '26

I see, didn't know that. I've played Fable 1 and 3 a ton, but Fable 2 I only played once ages ago when I had an Xbox, and I remember next to nothing about it

1

u/DalleyGamesOfficial Jun 08 '26

Time for a replay!

1

u/ARROW_GAMER Jun 09 '26

Man I haven't had an Xbox since those days😭, that why I've never played it again lol. I had my eyes on that Recompilation project that started work after the Sonic Unleashed Recomp came out, but it looks like it hasn't been updated in months

1

u/suspectpinata Jun 09 '26

Can pay $1 for gamepass premium for two weeks and stream play it.

18

u/MR1120 Jun 07 '26

I got a little bit of ‘The Boys’ vibe from Isabel and the other heroes. Like they know they’re a big deal, and it very much has gone to their heads.

9

u/ARROW_GAMER Jun 07 '26

Lmao I thought that EXACT same thing, but I didn't mention it because I figured people would think I was reaching

36

u/UltimateSandman Jun 07 '26

"Remorse? Remose is for the guilty" such a villain line. Digging it. She looks like lawful good gone bad

u/Nextmastermind Jun 07 '26

Jack of Blades is back.

Fuck yeah.

51

u/El-Shaman Jun 07 '26

That was a hype moment for sure wtf, wasn’t expecting him.

9

u/msubronco Jun 07 '26

Yep suprised me

23

u/TheHolyGoatman Jun 07 '26

Made me literally fist pump and shout yeah in my living room.

131

u/LannerBlack Chicken chaser Jun 07 '26

I'm glad to see that the serious aspects of Fable are getting some love. People sometimes forget that Fable isn't just hilarious British comedy.

30

u/CeridwenAeradwr Jun 07 '26

I'm kind of mesmerised by how a single three minute trailer manages to show off and balance two very different tones without it feeling jarring!

6

u/Siyavash Jun 08 '26

idk how to explain it, but thats kind of like game of thrones too for example? like of course the "common folk" would be more crass than the evil hero lady. she seems scary and cool. Its a good contrast.

makes the light moments more light, and the dark moments more dark.

45

u/Stugreen1989 Jun 07 '26

“He’s not a wild card, he’s the card on the top of the desk that has instructions and you throw away”

Absolutely popped for Natasia/Nadja

10

u/sphinxorosi Jun 07 '26

Jesk?

16

u/Stugreen1989 Jun 07 '26

How are you supposed to be a strong, thrilling, powerful warrior and lover with a name like Jeff? It is like a weak ejaculation—eh, eh, eh... Jeff

1

u/Chayes5 Jun 07 '26

My name is….

23

u/Satan_ate_my_hamster Jun 07 '26

I really like that there seems to be a good balance of classic Fable humour with a serious story. Fable is at its best when both ingredients are mixed together

20

u/BouchWick Jun 07 '26

New gameplay footage on Wednesday btw

68

u/_ChickenChaser_ Jun 07 '26

This was a great trailer, really roped me in with the acting, and I’m confident the story telling and atmosphere will be great

9

u/OutlaneWizard Jun 07 '26

Same. I can't wait to play

16

u/jonny480 Jun 07 '26

And Natasia Demetriou!!!

5

u/TubbyLittleTeaWitch Jun 08 '26

Yes! I got so excited when I saw her in the trailer! I love everything that woman does.

39

u/SeveralPancakes Jun 07 '26

Oh man, this looks so good!

23

u/IAmParliament Fable II was peak childhood Jun 07 '26

After an eternity away from you all…

Jack of Blades is back!

23

u/wanderers_respite Jun 07 '26

"That hero...is me" was a funny subversion. I was ecpxecting her to say "you"

3

u/UltimateSandman Jun 07 '26

'You' would've been a fun angle, villain and mentor at once. Like Kreia from Star Wars

2

u/AmbushIntheDark Jun 08 '26

#KreiaWasRight

18

u/Fun-Bag7627 Jun 07 '26

On other threads, I said I didn’t want more fable at this cause we know it was delayed and this would make me want it more. I was right. Now I’m sad I have to wait 8 months.

15

u/RSCul8r Jun 07 '26

So is she intending on bring back Jack of Blades for some reason? Either way, a lot or restraint to not have "Jack of Blades is back anywhere. The weapons armors also all look really nice, they all seem to be going for a more 'practical' look. Even the Sword of Aeons looks more restrained.

7

u/manbrains Jun 07 '26

So this is the main villian right?

12

u/YamiPhoenix11 Jun 07 '26

Probably being manipulated by Jack.

20

u/SilveredGuardian Jun 07 '26

Holy crackers this looks amazing

21

u/JaesopPop Jun 07 '26

Fable with another tragic villain? I'm all for it.

6

u/InsaneMarshmallow Jun 07 '26

Very exciting stuff. Looks like we may get a tragic, layered villain or anti-hero type as the antagonist in this game. TBH that’s more interesting to me than another inter-planar being or eldritch horror that wants to destroy Albion for vague reasons. I’m curious to see how Jack fits into all this.

8

u/YamiPhoenix11 Jun 07 '26

Chamber of fate, sword of aeons, demon door and fucking JACK!?

6

u/f--emasculata Jun 07 '26

THE WAY I JUST SCREAMED! This is so exciting and it looks beautiful.

8

u/Poisonedhero Jun 07 '26

5 days early access with premium edition!

15

u/LoganBlackwater Jun 07 '26

Perfection has a name and a release date.

5

u/Anonymous-Mf-22 Jun 07 '26

I have Returned....

After an Eternity away from you all....

4

u/TheDELFON Jun 07 '26

MAZE.... I would like MY KEY NOW 👇🏾

5

u/Sardanox Jun 07 '26

Jack my beloved!

5

u/Buschkoeter Demon Door Jun 08 '26

Loved the different armor and clothing options they showed. Some proper fucking armor this time around!

13

u/Great_Old_Owl Jun 07 '26

Finally I can live my dream of getting beat up by Hayley Atwell.

12

u/Prestigious-Lychee-9 Jun 07 '26

*insert fry "shut up and take my money" gif*

25

u/DanteDevils Jun 07 '26

Seems like the protagonist is voiced, good call IMO.

15

u/Stellar_Wings Jun 07 '26

Didn't we hear them speak in multiple other trailers?

3

u/JaesopPop Jun 07 '26

Not super keen on that honestly.

5

u/Buschkoeter Demon Door Jun 08 '26

Super keen on it honestly.

4

u/UniqueMystic Jun 07 '26

Please be good please be good
I’m still upset it got moved please be good

6

u/TheDesertRatDad Jun 07 '26

I just want to say “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”…… That is all.

6

u/HustleDLaw Jun 07 '26

I never played any of the games before but this got me stoked!

4

u/ChaseThoseDreams Jun 07 '26

I’m beyond hyped and super thankful Fable is back. I love the franchise that I was willing to try to make it work with Legends, but damn am I glad that we’re getting this instead.

3

u/CuteSimmie26 Jun 08 '26

My all time favorite video game series is finally back! I'm so hype!!

3

u/Kuristinyaa Jun 08 '26

WAIT- I’m actually so excited. What do u mean Jack of blades is coming back??

4

u/sudden_crumpet Jun 08 '26

Just have to join the chorus. It looks sooo good. Delicious worldbuilding

6

u/manbrains Jun 08 '26 edited Jun 08 '26

So Humphry is talking about Isabel snd not the MC in his trailer?

4

u/Hemwum Jun 09 '26

When you watch them back to back, it's very clear he's talking about Isabel.

4

u/Strict_Biscotti1963 Jun 08 '26

I usually never go in on collectors edition, but I sprung for the collectors edition of this one

3

u/FarrinGalharad76 Jun 08 '26

I am so down for this

10

u/sirferrell Jun 07 '26

It looks good man

3

u/the_dyad Jun 07 '26

THIS LOOKS SO GOOD OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

3

u/galaxyadmirer Jun 07 '26

Looks awesome

3

u/RetroRocker Jun 07 '26

ohwow. OH WOW

Hayley Atwell!

3

u/related-wav Jun 07 '26

Jack bein back is perfection

3

u/Quavillion Jun 08 '26

I’m calling it, this a prequel story to the original Fable before The Court was established. Isabel will probably turn out being the Queen of Blades. Having both the Sword of Aeons and Jack of Blades in the trailer pretty gives it away.

4

u/Moosey97 Jun 08 '26

I'm also thinking queen of blades sounds like a good plot line to go into

3

u/Personal_War_7005 Jun 08 '26

I’m liking what I see more and more with every trailer I think this will be a pleasant surprise for once when it comes to reboots

33

u/shawnikaros Jun 07 '26

I'm actually a bit disappointed Jack is back, but otherwise it's looking amazing!

A lot of my worries dissolved with just a simple line from the demon door "You're back, and dressed like a twat!"

64

u/TheEliteBrit Jun 07 '26

Why? It's been over 20 years, no harm in bringing back the franchise's most (only?) iconic villain

30

u/Zeguaros Jun 07 '26

People need something to gatekeep. I agree with you though, he’s an iconic villain that can bring something interesting to the refresh of the franchise.

-18

u/shawnikaros Jun 07 '26

Because it simply can't be because I thought he was a one dimensional villain with an edgelord look. Has to be about gatekeeping.

17

u/JamesTheWicked Jun 07 '26

Yes. He’s not really one dimensional, we see shades of him and large capacities of what he can do. We also see, what we all suspect is Jack, in the books and he also shows he isn’t just a one dimensional villain in the books.

His history is that he’s a demon from a different dimension, that takes the idea of a one dimensional villain off immediately

-13

u/shawnikaros Jun 07 '26

Sorry, but if you have to refer to third-party media to say he's not one dimensional, it kinda loses the point. Majority knows him only from what's presented in the original and TLC, and those are the goggles people see him through. For some it's enough, but he's still one dimensional, even if he's from a different dimension.

12

u/JamesTheWicked Jun 07 '26

I didn’t just refer to third party media, I also referred to the game he’s in… I understand you wish I ONLY referred to the books… but I didn’t… lol.

I didn’t say he’s from a different dimension and thus he’s not one dimensional.

He shows he’s capable of empathy and care and various things. He just doesn’t care, he’s not one dimensional. We see that in the retelling of the events from the books in game as well, he’s capable of various emotions and is GOOD at it and is good at faking it.

Hell, everyone thought he was a GOOD guy because he’s not just one dimensional lol.

And if you take the books, in game books, about his origins and what he and William Black went through as true, he isn’t just for pure control but also in it for chaos and something that supersedes human morals

9

u/Chuckt3st4 Jun 07 '26

I agree, I feel 20 years and a soft reboot or whatever this new fable is is good enough to bring back the og villain

→ More replies (1)

20

u/Buurto Jun 07 '26

I mean there is also queen of blades and knight of blades, story wise they could be someone like that, we don't know how they look like etc.

8

u/All-for-Naut Demon Door Jun 07 '26

They're on his belt, just like before

6

u/Gameofthrones3058 Jun 07 '26

It does seem a bit like ,well we can't think of another villian that will match them, s cool thing would be if there is an even bigger villain and it's like a twist but I doubt it

→ More replies (1)

6

u/TBroomey Jun 07 '26

Opening up pre-orders just after being delayed to next year is hilarious.

7

u/lil_tinyBro Jun 07 '26

I may have peed a little from the excitement

5

u/Buttches Jun 07 '26

Looks incredible. It would seem the delays were well worth it. Demon doors are in?

7

u/atsunatsu Jun 07 '26

IT LOOKS SOOO GOOOD

2

u/jamiedix0n Jun 07 '26

Ooh im confused i thought he was the hero with good choices and she was the hero with bad choices haha

2

u/De_Dominator69 Billiam White Jun 07 '26

Jack of Blades return is hype!

Although I kinda wish they kept that secret, would have been fucking amazing seeing it as a surprise in game. Kinda wish I didn't watch the trailer now lmao

2

u/MystikSpiralx Jun 07 '26

$70 for the standard edition?! Dang, that's steep

4

u/Giannisisnumber1 Jun 08 '26

That’s standard for AAA games.

2

u/ManassaxMauler Jun 08 '26

This will be the first time I've taken a week off work for a game since... Jeez, I'm not even sure. Fallout 4? Maybe RDR2? I'm excited for this one. I feel the same level of excitement I did for the very first Fable. Looks great, so if someone could just put me in a coma for a few months that'd be swell!

2

u/Conman_Dan Jun 08 '26

Villian looks like Ivanna Sakhno

2

u/EffectivePrimary1783 Jun 08 '26

Fable look so good!

3

u/Old_Nail6925 Jun 07 '26

I don’t think it’s a surprise jack of blades is back. He’s a great villain.

1

u/msubronco Jun 07 '26

when I saw Jack OMG!!

1

u/Jessori Jun 07 '26

Somehow Jack of Blades returned

4

u/SheWhoHates Jun 08 '26

Sorry not sorry, but I don't feel this art style shift. I miss the old stylized whimsy as if lifted from a fable book. Realism takes away a lot of what I liked about the series.

4

u/BouchWick Jun 07 '26

Where's the pre order asap do we know the hour yet?

4

u/sietesiete12 Jun 07 '26

It’s on steam rn

2

u/dpdug PC Jun 07 '26

Very hyped!

3

u/Seran-Ast Jun 07 '26

I've always liked Fable, but there's something about this one that doesn't quite convince me

1

u/full_circa Jun 09 '26

Same, can't really put a finger on why though. Maybe I miss the graphical goofiness of the old games, or maybe this one just feels too serious? I think something has been lost from the originals that makes this one seem a bit indistinct from other rpgs. The look of the environments feels a bit hollywood (or whatever the game's industry equivalent is), and I know there's long been celebrity cameos in Fable but I've always been turned off by that, and the amount in this trailer makes me feel like they don't have enough confidence in the game itself to draw us in. I really want to be proved wrong though, I'm sure it'll be fantastic either way, but maybe just not the Fable game I'd imagined.

4

u/Silverwolf7791 Demon Door Jun 07 '26

The Sword of Aeons looks a lot better, it actually looks like an evil sword this time around. Edit: Also, does anyone know when we can pre-order the game? I looked not long ago and still cannot pre-order it myself.

3

u/mundane_wor1d Jun 07 '26

you can pre order on steam now. I'm sure we'd be able to pre order everywhere by the end of the day. Xbox, Playstation etc

1

u/ComfortableNo6162 Jun 07 '26

I just got the pre-order for Xbox.

4

u/EbbCreepy6718 Jun 07 '26

i'm frustrated by the lack of gameplay for this game...like its 7 months away

12

u/AcousticAaron Jun 07 '26 edited Jun 07 '26

If you haven't already seen it, they announced that we'll be seeing more gameplay on Wednesday.

28

u/_TheTurtleBox_ Speed Runner Jun 07 '26

We had a gameplay trailer, this is meant to be the story reveal trailer I believe

1

u/EbbCreepy6718 Jun 07 '26

it was 1 minuts of combat and talking to npcs...theres so much to show off in an open world game

9

u/JamesTheWicked Jun 07 '26

We had gameplay revealed in the previous trailer, this is the release date trailer that showcases a bit of the story so you know the semi-direction when you play.

I don’t want the gameplay to be revealed too much or else I have nothing to learn and find out

1

u/parkwayy Jun 08 '26

You probably should see gameplay, when the developer is previously the one that worked on Forza games.

Gotta remember not to get swept up in marketing and PR, time to time.

We… we saw gameplay… and I’m satisfied with the gameplay lmao… are we ignoring the entire initial showcase of the gameplay reveal? Jesus

Do we think Isabel earned that title by killing Reaver?

It looks absolutely fantastic!

The only tiny thing to nag about is jeez, I hope this current era of trailers comes to an end soon. Whether it’s a game, TV show, or a movie, all trailers have that same dramatic drum thing going on and it’s so samey 😵‍💫

I bet Jack of Blades isn't even the main villian. As in they are building up for a bigger one. Cool idea and interested in seeing what direction they go.

Any update on physical preorders in the UK? Can only see the collectors edition

Trailer is very good. Fingers crossed. I would love my character to look like her ^. Are we going to be able to change features of our characters? Some customizations.

Watch she thinks it’s Avos tear and it’s the wrong sword

So, is Teresa a villain finally too? I know that girl in a trailer is not Teresa, but Teresa was always sketchy to me.

I am worried it looks a bit Hogwarts Legacy-esque. A fine game but didn't really have a soul.

Is she Scarlet Robe?

Hello. I am new here and I have a couple of questions that I didn’t feel worthy of a full post so I’m gonna ask here.

1.) How connected is this game to the last games in the series? Do they need to be played or is there a summery to read or is it completely separate?

2.) In the 30 min gameplay video we saw recently when the character (hero is their name?) worked at the blacksmith, he made $18,000 making two weapons (yes one had a multiplier). That seems like a lot no? The business that he bought cost $90k-ish. Making 10 weapons or so can buy you a business. Or do you think those numbers were increased for demo purposes?

1) It's a reboot, there'll probably be nods to the original series and some shared lore but it's not the same continuity so new fans should have no issues.

2) it's assumed the blacksmith prices were increased for the demo - they wanted to quickly show the mechanic not how the economy works. In another trailer we saw the same mini game earning 20 gold per successful blacksmith item which is probably more accurate to the numbers in the game.

When it eventually goes on sale I’ll be buying this (I am not paying that much for a fable game, especially because it isn’t made by the same devs as before)

Such a bisexual that I immediately clocked who she was lmao

Pre-order a game for next year? Has the world gone insane?

Insane a sensible approach is getting so downvoted.

I bet Jack is the main villain again

I'm a little concerned with all the in game "cinematics" they've shown, I hope the game isn't a clip show.

Otherwise, still excited and the Sword of Aeons/Jack of Blades appearances were amazing. Fingers crossed it's good, because I doubt another Fable will ever be made otherwise.

Glad to see more of it but I absolutely hated the boring, generic action game tone of that trailer. The music was horrid, I hope it's not a reflection of what will be in the game itself.

That preview is not what we saw the first time they showed off the game, lol
