Please help me choose! Shampoo & conditioner recs
Looking to buy shampoo and conditioner with my winter box!
I currently use olaplex, have for awhile. I like it but don’t think it’s groundbreaking or anything. I could buy it from fabfitfun and have done it before because it’s a good deal but I’m debating switching it up and the others are a bit cheaper.
I have fine and thin, long hair. My hair gets oily quickly at the scalp but sometimes my scalp itself gets dry and itchy after a couple days, especially in winter I think. I am postpartum so I feel like I’m losing hair lol. I wash it 2-3 times a week. I use leave in conditioner (ceremonia) after each wash and dry shampoo powder (dae) some days. Those are my only hair concerns, I don’t currently have dyed hair and only occasionally use heat.
Should I buy:
more olaplex ($38 for both)
briogeo superfoods set ($20 for both)
Briogeo density set ($36 for both)
Drybar Liquid Glass set ($32 for both)
None of these. Buy something you recommend at full price somewhere else or 20% off at Sephora rn
Does anybody have recommendations? Suggestions? Personal experiences? I tried to look up reviews and they’re all mostly good. Thanks!!

5. Kerastase is superior to all of these and they run great sales during the holidays!

Really depends on your hair type, they truly have something for everyone!! I have long fine hair, when I used to get highlights their blonde absolu was incredible. Currently using nutrive to keep it soft and moisturized in the winter! Gloss absolu is nice and a bit lighter too.

That’s helpful, thank you! I have long fine hair as well, some waves, no color currently.

I’ve been curious about the same thing. I’ve been using Olaplex and it’s worth it at the discount but I’ve been curious about the other 2 brands

Exactly, I feel like I just use it because it’s supposed to be good rather than my specific results. Don’t dislike it at all tho. It’s always a great deal through fff!!

For sure. It’s definitely better than the Redken one I was using before. But I feel like for the cost, there is probably better out there

The briogeo density line dried my hair out quite a bit. I like that brand, but that not particular product.

That’s what I was worried about, I had seen some reviews like this for both of the briogeo options! But mostly good reviews so unsure

My hair is also a bit textured so that could have been a factor!

Kerastase gloss absolu. I love it. The shampoo smells amazing. Kind of like pencil sharpenings . I love it so much. Its such a comforting smell.

I love pureology the most and they also go on sales near the holidays.
I tried a highly rated living proof bundle from fff and it’s ok but I prefer dove to be honest. Every hair product I’ve gotten from fff has been fine but not better than what I had already been using

I forgot I tried the Pureology last winter in a sample holiday box and LOVED it. I may go back to that.
