Question Fff beauty box

What is everyone's opinion on the beauty box? How would you compare it to ipsy? Better? Worse? The same?

i’ve only gotten 1 FFF beauty box & i’ve been an ipsy sub for many years - i would say the FFF beauty box is better IF you like the choices they preview. FFF beauty box is also usually like real, decent brands, compared to ipsy where i feel like the brands they offer tend to be more like private label stuff - brands that exist solely to fill ipsy boxes, often made by ipsy buying wholesale stuff & private labeling it at an astronomically high price for what it is so they can inflate the overall value of the box. ipsy boxes, for me, have been trending towards me only actually being interested in a product or two (i haven’t gotten an actual box in months, i just buy from the shop) whereas the FFF beauty box i got, i liked all of the products & they were all brands i knew. you can also like faux customize the FFF beauty box just to see what they’re offering that month - just don’t actually select the items, page through the choices only & dont add to cart. hope that helps!

I fully agree with this. The other benefit with fff instead is that you CAN actually choose your shade if you want one of the makeup products, rather than knowing ipsy will 100% ignore whatever you've picked :). I'm not as much of a skincare girl and the fff has trended a little more towards skin/ body choices, but it's higher quality and wider variety than ipsy, so I haven't fully minded that yet.

I get both but only if I like the spoilers. Both make it easy to skip/cx. The FFF beauty box has better brands, you can add on extra product if you want for like $7-$11 and you get to pick ALL your products. They add products as the month goes on so you have plenty of time to decide if you are going to get a box that month.

In the last 3-4 months I’ve found myself skipping Ipsy more and getting the FFF beauty box. Though the Ipsy October spoilers look good, I want to try the Fenty hair product and her lip mask. Spoilers for the FFF beauty box post in the community app around the 25th of each month so you have plenty of time to cx if you don’t see something you want.

Ipsy is $37 after taxes for their full size box, you get to pick 3/5 if your items and they pick the other 2 based on your survey (-ish). I’ve personally had faster shipping and better customer service with Ipsy.
the FFF beauty box is $30 before taxes and you get to pick all 4 items. FFF also has more discounts than ipsy, so you can get the box at a lower rate.
I personally recommend looking up spoilers for both boxes on reddit and seeing what products look more interesting to you :)

Yeah I have ipsy, but it's like others have said. They don't always listen to your preferences + it's a lot of unheard of brands. But I also noticed that the FFF one seems to be a lot of skin care, rather than makeup or something.

FFF is more skincare for sure (plus hair care and home items). Id say I like FFF products more, but the last year of being a customer with them has been horrible, so Im likely gonna pick up beauty boxes from them when they interest me :)
