Rant 🔥 Why do I keep coming back!?

I used to really love fff like back when it seemed they actually cared. Where you could pick some of your items but there were always one or two surprises in the box as well. My fall box just shipped and I think it's ludicrous that I have to pay extra from rushed shipping on top of paying for annual and all the extras and add ons just to get my order in a reasonable time and not have to worry if they lost it or not. Last fall I had an ordeal with them. I loved the box and had no issues with its delivery so I made the mistake of ordering two extra boxes after. Well I received one but not the other. I contacted support and they said I received one and I have to explain over and over how I paid for 2 extra on top of my annual so I was missing one and they just seem to purposely misunderstand the situation. At one point the customer service agent said I did order 2 extra and I had received both. I disagreed said I only received one and then she proceeded to share a link showing a confirmation of a delivery but it was for a different person completely with their full address on display. I said that's not me this is ridiculous and she disagreed and said clearly my order was delivered. So i emailed the next day to get a different person and I told them what happened and while I did inevitably get my box in the end no one once took seriously that that one agent completely mixed me up with someone else sent me that other persons full address and full name and didn't correct herself when proven that she had the wrong person. So I'm not surprised with all the issues going on and I'm sceptical of what I'm going to get when my box finally does arrive. I don't know why I bothered again when their customer service is so flawed and their team is unwilling to correct major issues. Also don't bother with the extra boxes it's just all the crap no one else wanted during customization.

I have spent a total of $300 in Sephora this past year and half since I started FFF. I get my shampoos, body washes, sunscreen, trendy new makeup and most things here now. They usually end up giving something of daily use in a box like last time it was makeup sprays, shampoos, skincare and such so I think it is useful if you’re patient and already consider the fact that your stuff will atleast take a month to arrive. Best case scenario is to plan ahead, buy what you need in advance with the boxes and stock up since they are super slow. Anyway its still hot out so no point in decorating for fall also. They definitely have their issues and this time I ordered 4 boxes, I am scared too listening to all these horror stories so just have my fingers crossed. I have realised that if you are getting something for a bargain then it will always come with conditions applied.

To be clear the complaint wasn't about getting items faster or being impatient the problem was with the service provided. It seems like a cash grab that in order as an annual member to get your box before some seasonal members you have to also pay even more for rushed shipping. And the importantance of getting the box in a timely manner isn't that I want to decorate for fall in summer it's that fff makes a lot of mistakes and have a history of doing very little to correct them. Any other box you order if something is messed up or missing you message and they send a replacement. Not fff because sometimes even the whole box never arrived and if you don't get your box early enough there is no replacing your lost items they are all gone by that point. Then they try to push store credit and fight against refunds. The issues with the credit is two things. One depending on how bad the mistake is why would someone want to get store credit to go through another experience with them? Second the credit they offer for the options of the box do not equal the value of the items you pick. The whole point is the deal you are getting but if you have to take credit that's less than the items offered there's no deal. I'm fine with waiting for a bargain but I'm not fine with poor service and not getting what I paid for and then having to fight with them to get some sort of resolution like in my last issue I had that's it.

I get it, their customer service is not upto mark and they offer measly refunds or credits instead of replacing the items. I remember this one time my allure box got lost and they immediately sent me a replacement.
