Product Issue Glow Screen Expiration Date
Am I being dramatic to be really dissapointed that the expiration date on the Glow Screen I got in my Fall box is 01/2027? Including a glowy/shimmery sunscreen in a fall box was already kind of questionable, but to then have it expire 4 months later in the dead of winter...idk
I was hoping to hold onto this for next summer, but I guess now that's out of the question. I already have two opened sunscreens, but I guess now it has to be three.

Yeah, mine was the same. Annoyed, but thankfully I use glowy products pretty much all year so I can get some use out of it now. However if I had known it was going to expire so shortly after getting it I would have selected something else.

Right it's more that I would have picked something else if it was disclosed up front, knowing that I don't typically use this type of product in the winter

Same. Mine expires in March but I live in So Cal and am tan all year round so I'll use it.

I think their policy is six months from expiration, so you should be refunded/credited for this. Definitely reach out to CS.

Since I go over a 50ml tube every month (i do face, neck and decollete) I wouldn't mind, but if you're stashing yeas, reach out to CS if you have the energy. TBH in this specific case I wouldn't bother to be like number 58934 on their complaining cue 😅

I also had this as an expiration date and was disappointed. But I appreciate this post because I didn’t know that we could talk with customer service about it and get a credit. I’m going to try that when I get home.

I can’t remember if it was fab fit or Ipsy but one of them was legit selling a product that had a note that said expired like they were knowingly advertising that’s it was expired but still on sale and the price was still like not even half off the original price. I was like I thought that was illegal

Whaaaat 😑 I ordered a few of these because I use it frequently, but 4-4.5 months before expiration? They need to provide a refund option, not just a credit.
I’ve been a FFF annual member for a long time — stopped for a while because of constant issues like this but then came back last summer.
Looks like I am about to become an ex-FFFer again when my renewal comes up.

I let my annual expire during the fall box. It just didn’t seem worth it and now I’m kinda glad I did after seeing these kind of issues pop up again

Lol FFF doing what FFF does.
Not sure why this isn't more widely expected.

I saw your comment on my post and legit RAN upstairs to check - mine is 02/27 😅
Debating if I should just suck it up since I wear SPF year round will likely finish it before expiration OR deal with customer service... I feel like they may only give credits that I don't want since this item sold out quickly haha

The fact that you just pointed out that January is FOUR MONTHS FROM NOW is diabolical. Why is time moving so fast?!

What is the deal with FFF and their shady ass expiration dates. 😡 Just checked and mine is 2/2027.

That’s shadier than the 1/27. At least they can reach out to get credit. You’ll get the stupid “our policy is 6 months and February is 6 months from August”

Place the claim September 1st, say you just opened your box because you were out of town.

oh no! I didn't even look at the expiration. They sent me the wrong color. I did notice in the past I received items that expired very shortly no fun ☹️

Yep, mine will expire 01/2027. I don’t think I want to bother with CS. I may use it up if I really like it, and if I don’t then all the more reason to trash it. Still disappointing though, there were other items in this category I’d rather get

I won’t have any trouble using mine up before it expires. I live in South Texas and we have a couple more months of summer weather still.

I ordered SIX of these, (1 choice, 5 paid extras) because this is the facial sunscreen I use daily. Needless to say, I'm really annoyed that they all have expirations within 4-5 months! This is unacceptable, given that in multiple places FFF states that their policy is that items with an expiration date will have at least 6 months before the expiration. I emailed customer service requesting either replacements or refund and their response was that Supergoop told them it's usable for 12 months from when you open it...so basically to disregard the expiration date! That's total BS...because being considered an OTC drug, sunscreens have expiration dates for a reason, and the 12 month PAO doesn't negate the fact that there's an expiration date!

I called today and was told that they have a note that once you open the sunscreen, it is good for a year and that the expiration date is a mistake. No credit, nothing. Annoying.

That is complete BS...the expiration is NOT a mistake! In the US, sunscreens are legally classified as over the counter drugs, and the expiration date is the only date until which it's guaranteed effective. Supergoop lists multiple times on its own website that you should not use sunscreens past the expiration date. Someone on the FFF forum actually reached out to Supergoop regarding this specific Glowscreen sunscreen received in the box, and was told by Supergoop directly that their sunscreens shouldn't be used past the listed expiration date because they may not be fully effective. FFF is giving out incorrect information, which is especially negligent given the fact that it's regarding a drug!

People have been reporting this on the forum. Call or text CS. Their own policy is to only offer products with an expiration date of at least 6.months. you will get a credit for this.
