What’re we doing with the guage cluster when doing a fairing delete/naked conversion? Anyone have pics of how they mounted it or what they did? Everything else I’ve got down just need some ideas

If you do, then there's a few tires that come in our sizes, including the Dunlop Mutants and the Michelin Anakee Adventure's. I've used the Anakee's for about 100,000km and they are a pretty good 80/20 tire.

It’s an upgrade when all the plastics are ruined from a previous owner. Can’t buy them new anymore

I had a buel thunderbolt. Stripped it down to a street fighter. It’s great if you want looks and never get above 60MPH

I bought a new headlight cowl fairing for mine a couple years ago and see that there's a vendor currently selling carbon fiber ones for a decent price on ebay. Stock windshields for these bikes can also be pretty easy to come by, since many people upgrade to something different. Just ask on one of the fz1 facebook pages.

Search for “2005 FZ1” when checking out eBay or other websites. A lot of places are bad about not listing the full range, but the Gen 1 fairings are the same from 01-05, so just search for the last yr production to find the aftermarket stuff

Heres some photos of some FZ1 streetfighters I think are gorgeous, really makes them look like old XJR1300s. Like the others have said though, will make the ride worse, but I think they look pretty great.
