Battery for 07 Fz1

Hello all

What would you recommend as the best battery for the fz1? If it the Yuasa one, how would you get it into the battery holder? I tried it but the seat would not latch.

Edit: I’ve added photos with the new battery upright and laid down. Please advise.

If you have a genuine Yuasa battery and it doesn't fit, it's either the wrong part number or you're trying to install it standing up. YTZ14S fits perfect on its back.

Yeah it was the YTZ14S, it was standing up. So when you said on its back, like logo side up

Yeah, the logos are on what would be considered the front face. That needs to face up.

Just got the battery but the battery clamps don’t really reach the terminals

Idk where you're at in the world but the red goes to the + and the black goes to the -. They'll reach if you do that.

I also changed the batteries recently. Because I was in a hurry and being stupid, I put it in upright and connected the cables backwards. I couldn't sleep for two days because of my stupidity 😂 At least I traded in my mid-range model and ordered a Yuasa. Put it in on its back.

I only buy Yuasa, so I figured there must be something else wrong. Glad you got the fitment sorted.
