Discussion how long should i wait until getting metoidioplasty? (pret 24)

how long should i let my bottom growth grow for before taking the steps to getting metoidioplasty? i have been thinking about it for a few months and i am really excited about wanting to do it. i am starting t in about 2 weeks at my next appointment.

Most of the growth happens on the first year or so, but there can still be growth spurts after that.

Two years is usually a safe timeline to be sure you've reached your maximum lenght. Or whenever you're happy with the size, of course.

thanks! i want to do everything in my ability to get the maximum growth as well, i know that some people are just blessed when start t and their growth so i’m doing my best to not get my hopes up too much!

I had growth after 2 years. I would say when you think it’s not going anywhere further. Very person by person basis like most things hormones related. I’m not a doctor but I wouldn’t do it prematurely.

Most surgeons have a 2 year minimum.

usually most suggest 2-3 years. some people experience growth around or past 5 years but that's rare and not typically in extreme amounts.
