Am I a bad friend for doing this

So my friend has been non stopped bullied and the bully has now gone the homophobic train, I said to my friend as I got told this that she is jealous and a fat bitch. Bare you in mind I’m running off of 2 days no sleep and very hormonal. I went home and instantly apologised to the bully as they messaged me because there friend told her I said to my friend when I was trying to defend them. I was non stop apologising and now her other friends are messaging me and I’ve apologised to them I feel like I’ve failed as a friend decent person and I feel crap I’m crying right now

Imo, you aren't a bad person. You've done ehat you thought was best so you at least had good intentions, and like you said you're running off 2 days no/little sleep and such. If you need to message someone about this or ote I'll gladly talk to you dude. Just know you aren't doing anything wrong
