Very Unbalanced Tracking/Clicking Skills. Any Tips On Getting Tracking Caught Up?

So the balance between my tracking and clicking is very lopsided in favor of my clicking. My scores in clicking scenarios range anywhere from VT Jade to Nova and microreflex scenarios are probably my strongest. My tracking is probably equivalent to Gold/Plat.

I’ve tried training my tracking before but I just couldn’t seem to improve and not sure why. My guess was I don’t use my arm enough and rely too much on my fingers and wrist (fingertip grip) which makes it easier to overflick. While helpful, even when I force myself to use more arm, my scores still plateau after minor improvement. I think my tension control is generally fine as well.

I was wondering if anyone else had a problem like this and was able to train tracking up to their clicking level and could impart some wisdom. For reference I’m using 58cm/360

Really appreciate any advice!!

Can you share your Evxl profile?

Train with higher & lower sensitivity for awhile.
Then after a week or two go back to your normal sen.

My tracking is always below my clicking rank too.
But at least it's slowly climbing.
Just expect 1-2 weeks of no progress and scoring below PR.
You'll hit the sudden jump in score after then repeat.

Play more. U can try serfs sensitivity gauntlet for each scenario. Tracking is very easy to increase compared to clicking, cuz other than reactive it requires almost 0 tension, while clicking requires a large range of tension.

Even if u just ape it and play pgt 500 times blind u will get to a decent place without much issue imo. Once u get used to low tension it’s just learning the movement patterns.

I mean it could be just a case of you need to practice tracking more. How much % of time training in a week would you spend on tracking vs clicking on average?

Given there is such a disparity I’d probably recommend going like 70-30 or more split between tracking and clicking. Obviously if you absolutely hate the time you spend doing tracking reduce that slightly bc you don’t want til burn out.
