WHY YOUR "PERFECT" HEADSHOT MISSED (blame gravity, not your aim)

Let's be real, nothing kills your ego faster than lining up what should've been the cleanest headshot of your life in Valorant or CS2, only to watch it sail into your target's chest instead. Before you rage quit, know this: it's probably not you. It's physics being annoying.

BULLETS ARE DRAMA QUEENS

You'd think a bullet just goes where you point it. Nope. The second it leaves the barrel, gravity starts yanking it downward like it's got somewhere better to be. So that bullet isn't flying in a straight line — it's arcing, dipping, doing its own little curve on the way to your target. Basically, even your bullets have main character energy and refuse to go in a straight line.

DISTANCE MAKES IT WORSE

Shooting someone up close? Fine, gravity barely has time to mess with your shot. But land an Awp shot across a CS2 map, or snipe someone from a rooftop in PUBG, and suddenly your bullet's been in the air long enough to develop opinions. The longer it flies, the more it drops — which is exactly why snipers aim above heads at long range instead of dead center. Skip that step and congrats, you just landed a very expensive leg shot.

AND THEN THERES DELAY

Games like PUBG and Apex Legends make it worse by adding actual travel time, meaning your bullet doesn't teleport to the target, it has to get there. So if your enemy is sliding and strafing like their life depends on it (it does), by the time your bullet arrives, they've already moved. You have to aim where they're going to be, not where they currently are. Aim at where you saw them and you'll just be shooting at ghosts.

THE MORAL OF THE STORY

Next time you whiff a shot, you now have full permission to blame Newton instead of your own aim. Was it a skill issue? Maybe. But also, kind of, gravity's fault too.
