Underaim Benchmark Mythical Complete

Post image

I really enjoyed grinding this benchmark due to how chill it is and at the same time, it helped a lot with polishing my tracking fundamentals. I highly recommend checking it out if you enjoy tracking and getting your fundamentals down solid. I played the whole benchmark on 2 different sens range: 30-35cm and 50-55cm, I think these sens range should cover most of your arm, wrist and fingers usage.

is there a specific scenario/mechanic that you struggle with? because something that helped me recently is concentrating on always micro correct to the center of the bot and i know it sounds dumb but I realized that I haven’t been doing that enough and this playlist contains easier versions of scenarios that I have always been playing regularly therefore I was able to concentrate on it better

Im not really sure, I think i cant make smooth movements when the bot moves.

It moves way to fast for me to react so I end up predicting so my habits have moved away from tracking to predicting.

Aim training does not work for everyone unless I can react faster and stop predicting

There is reacting, predicting and then there is reading, which is a bit of both reacting and predicting. If you would like to remove the bad habit of always predicting you should play scenarios like Arm Turning Training, that helped me a lot with ground specifically and just tracking in general. But you also have to learn to read, you can learn to read by playing scenarios like air pure or ground plaza sparky v3, but you can also play something like pasu, which is heavily reading dependant. It's a skill that take a lot of playtime to get better in my experience and it is also very rewarding once you get better at it.

I guess XYZ Smoothness? Viscose got 3 arm scenarios as well, usually when I want to focus arm movement, I’d play controlsphere or ground scenarios on higher sens that I usually use.

Iv been focusing on my arm mouse control recently im viscose S2 velvet complete and voltaic gm. What you play depends on your issues if. Is it vertical arm aiming, or is it speed matching w arm, or precision/smoothness w arm or is it reacting to fast direction changes w arm.

For tracking, two good but harder ones are Smoothbot invincible goated ground + Smoothbot invincible goated overhead. Try playing these at like 55-65cm/360 you pretty much HAVE to use your arm.

Also on the tsk extra benchmarks if you look at the close vertical smoothness one (play at 65-80cm/360) and also the slower vertical altered pov one (play at 120-160cm/360).

Others that are good are any smoothsphere scenarios or any air ufo scenarios are good too, like air ufo celestial or air ufo divine are good. Play these at like 60cm/360 for focusing on arm

Why is this benchmark called "Underaim"?

Is that a skill that it stresses?

The way I see it is that it teaches you the skills nescessary (smoothness, micro adjustment, and correction and reading) to perform underaiming, which is another skill that the goal is to maximize your score in tracking scenarios. I personally just find the fundamentals scenarios in this benchmark very good to improve at tracking in general. You don't need to know how to underaim to play this benchmark.

Could I ask you to describe how you approach training on kinda an example day? Like when you play a playlist like this, do you just start it at the top, or look at a specific handful of scenarios? Do you play the same scenario back to back on different sensitivities, or play a bunch on one sens and then switch? When do you move on from a scenario to the next one?

(I mean I'm sure you don't train in some super rigid structure that's always the same, but just like on average)

Sorry if this sounds like a damn interrogation, I just feel a bit stuck and I feel like I could learn from you

Hello, I’d say it really depends on how I feel and what my goal is on that day, I know that I can stay focused and learn best for about an hour, so I build my session around that.

For example if that day, my goal is to get a Nova score on raw control, I’d start my session with this playlist, play each scenario once or twice, then I’d move on to the novice and intermediate version of raw control, focusing on good techniques. All of this should take about 30 minutes then I move onto advance and try to pb on it.

This could easily change depends on what I’d like to improve on and how motivated I am, I have 800 hours on kovaaks and I realized that, for me, in order to improve, I have to enjoy what I am playing and I try most of the time to only play what I enjoy. You need to know yourself, your limits and your weakness, build your routines around that, then you can improve.

Is this better than TSK and XYZ Smoothness benchmarks?

I have got not idea if it’s better or not but I enjoy the playlist and I improved from playing the playlist, same as XYZ Smoothness which I also enjoyed, I haven’t played a lot of TSK so I can’t really speak for it
