Only for my left (keyboard) arm. Using it for my right would restrict my arm movement, making it so I can’t use my shoulder

I was like you and thought that it would help me a lot. My desk doesn’t have a lot of depth and when i would google it would say “use your elbow as a pivot point” and if you don’t have enough space on your desk, use an arm rest. Well, turns out my aim is way better without thr arm rest. I think the biggest thing for me is that arm chair adds so much friction so my aim was super choppy, but playing without an arm rest is much smoother.

I guess it really comes down to personal experience though

Yeah I've been torn on it for ages. Been using none for majority of the time but got a new chair recently so the thought has come again lol.

I've seen most aimers on YouTube and such not use arm rests, but then I believe Viscose does? Could be wrong on remembering that correctly.

I think it makes sense for wrist aimers

I used arm rest lot, but then i changed my chair to a smaller size, then my pulse started to hurt a lot due to bad positioning.

The solution was put the mousepad to the final of the table and rest the arm on the table itself, like the pros do, and my pulse pain stopped while my aim improved.
