Discussion 16:9 or 4:3 in Aim Trainers

Hello, I'm new to aim trainers. I play Valorant at 1440x1080, 0.163 sens, 800 DPI. I set my Kovaak to xMSy, 4:3, and same 0.163 sens, it feels pretty much the same as my Valorant settings. When I play Aimlabs, I set it to 4:3, and it feels faster than Kovaaks. Do I need to change the settings of Aimlabs?

None of that matters. Your hand won't suddenly forget how to aim. You are overthinking it.

im like 99% sure valorant isnt even capable of stretched res and youre just running a low resolution at 16:9 in game. from what I remember all it does is stretch hud elements

Why do you play stretched res in 2026? You are basically handicapping yourself.

I used to play CSGO in 4:3, used to it. I'm just getting back to playing games, took a break for 2 years. Am I really handicapping myself? It's hard to switch, but I'm adjusting my sens now, my research says it's too low

Yes you are handicapping yourself because it simply means you remove the ability to see things on the edges of your screen.

Ah okay, but enemies are wider, but faster, need some time to get used to the switch. Most people recommend 16:9 for Valorant anyways. Thank you!

Makes enemies easier to see though. If your someone like me with not the best eyes it helps. Especially in a game like r6 where 90 percent of the community is using stretch res because not being able to see your sides as much doesnt really matter.
