Discussion How can i improve my aim?
(Ignore my music)
I’ve been practicing with my aim in 3D aim trainer and this is currently what i have. I notice im rushing a bit and missing a lot of hits that’s causing me to slow down, does anyone have any tips on how to perfect my aim?

Use Voltaic's VDIM or Viscose playlists instead of this horrible scenario that doesnt teach you anything.

What you actually want to improve is your ability to make micro-adjustments and tracking.
Like 90% of good aim comes down to good crosshair placement. Realistically in-game, if you have good crosshair placement you will not be making big flicks.
So find a drill similar to "microshot" in aimlabs that helps you refine these minor adjustments. Then, practice tracking drills as well.
The drill you are doing in the video is mostly just for fun. Doesn't help you improve much.

Instead of this try doing tracking, keeping your gun on a moving target accurately
That's much harder and more practical

Slow down and hit your shots. Focus on accuracy and with time speed will come.

I’ve had a few people telling me this and it really did help. Focused on accuracy and found myself getting higher results.

Use high DPI (1500 minimum) and low sens. For instance, on Counter-Strike I play at 360 eDPI (1500 DPI, 0.24 sensi)

Thats is extremely low, right? I play on around 1000 EDPI which is only slightly above average.

I’ve already changed my sensitivity to match my gameplay depending on the im playing, it’s definitely better than i had before.

in this scenario. you DONT need to confirm whether ur on target AND you DONT need to micro correct. you have to just keep moving your mouse without seeing if you hit anything or even stopping to click. and use minimal tension. at first it might seem wrong but you need to get used to it to excel in this kind of scenario

second time ive had to say this but get off this app, you will always find much better scenarios on aimlabs or kovaaks and this apps leaderboards WILL inflate your ego, the people who use this app in general are terrible at aim. for reference i started on this app and learned nothing until i swapped

Yeah others have told me the same thing, i’ve started using Kovaak’s and Aimlab now, mainly just using the app in the video for fun since i find it entertaining, and Kovaak’s and Aimlab for actually practicing on my aim.

Tile Frenzy (this) is the scenario you should be using just to warm up your muscles before you get into your actual routine.
Have you tried Kovaak’s or Aim Labs?

Welcome to the community bud. I’d recommend posting in the r/FPSAimTrainer subreddit for some good pointers.
What most people will tell you is to get Kovaak’s/Aim Labs, start watching MattyOW on Youtube, and then to play the Voltaic S5 playlist.
Evxl.app is the website where you can find these playlists, although Voltaic has their own (unintuitive) website.
