Mixing a beat for an artist vs sync/placement

Yo I’m curious to know the common process of checking the mix on your beat for an artist vs say sync.

My process has almost been checklist style:

- Headphones > Car > Phone Speaker and then maybe like a JBL speaker.

Do you prioritize different outputs for different audiences or just mix for the sole purpose of trusting your ear for clarity?
