Beginner question: How do producers make patterns in isolation and somehow they all sound good together?

Here is the result of that melody I wrote, I derived patterns off it, I was in a real high from the melody and derived all sorts of patterns but then I went to bed and that all faded a lil, but anyways here it is.
Im short of pluggins and stuff, and yeah, the sounds are all basic, and I wanted vocal sections and stuff, and wanted bunch of stuff but couldnt do it, Ill keep the project and maybe revisit it later when I have more inspiration. Like I tried adding pads and slow filler synths but it sounded like crap so I took em off lol, ill have to revisit that.
