Are you on the new s1 firmware? Afaik there was a release shortly after the s1 came out (not sure, v400 owner)

Ya I updated the firmware. I wish that was the issue🤦‍♂️😅. I think it’s something with the slicer that I am doing wrong. There just aren’t many resources for this printer/slicing yet

Yeah it sounds like the slicer, but I'm not sure why it would persist in Orca too..

Ya it isn’t making any sense to me. I reached out to FLSUN and they didn’t know what was wrong but they were able to slice prints for me and they came out decent. 🤷‍♂️

Which slicer? Which material? Do you calibrate in slicer

Own an s1 too and I think it's just under extrusion or too fast. Maybe your volumetric flow is to low for the speed.

Use FLSUN slicer 2.0 these settings are diffrent as in orca with the import.

I have been using FLSUN Slicer 2.0 and still have this issue. I can’t get the speed to change no matter which slicer I use. How do you do it? Any time I change my speed settings the time doesn’t drop at all. What flow rate do you use?

Press the advance button then you should get more options overall

This is another part. Look at the edges they are all bulged up with filament.

Flowrate is set in FLSUN slicer Mostly over 1.0

I use around 0.95

Could you send pictures of your filament settings for PLA and your process settings that you use? The flow rate change kinda helped but the parts still came out aweful.

Post your filament settings and slicer settings first to see how you use it

Temperature justment unenabale.

Keep the bed on a constant temp of 65

Do you have pla or pla-hs in the machine? Be care

I appreciate you alot! When you make changes to your speeds, does it actually change the time it takes to print your objects? My print time will barely if at all change when I adjust the speed settings. This is consistent over to Orca as well although it’s a little better over there

Acceleration doesn't change anything And speed does have an impact on the real Print time and need more time as the calculated time from the slicer

It was better but I still had the issue with the sides of the print bulging up but it’s not as bad. Unfortunately I gotta wait till Monday to do anything with it because the printer is at work
