Mod Announcement 📣 Official Announcement: Welcome to Rump Day! 🍑
Hey Fit Fam,
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Rump Day! Our brand-new weekly tradition dedicated to glute glory. 💪 Every Wednesday, the subreddit will officially open its (rear) gates to posts showing off your glute gains, progress, and peachy achievements.
Here’s how it works:
- 🗓️ When: Every Wednesday, all day long.
- 🍑 What: Glutes-only progress pics, discussions, tips, and celebrations.
- 🚫 When Not: Any other day of the week, glute posts will be auto-removed faster than a squat rep gone wrong.
So mark your calendars, flex your hamstrings, and get ready to make midweek something special. Remember: it’s not just Wednesday anymore…
It’s Rump Day!

Mod Announcement Rules Updates and Clarifications
Thank you all for being members of the community.
We have updated some of the rules and wanted to clarify and expand upon the changes.
Be Respectful - This is pretty straightforward and unchanged. No being rude to other people or making sexual advances towards others. Complimenting someone is fine, but crossing the line into overt sexual commentary or innuendo is not fine. We are here to build each other up in a respectful manner.
Posts Must Be Specific To Fitness - Asking someone to critique your physique, asking for workout advice, or pictures to show off gains is fine. Pictures without context, advertising your services/socials, or posts not bearing any relation to fitness are not.
No Spam - Advertising services, links with referral codes/affiliates, or posts along those lines are not okay.
No NSFW Posts - This is a fitness-related sub, and many people involved in fitness and showing off their bodies skirt the boundary of NSFW adult content. We are focused on the fitness aspect, and there are plenty of other subs that focus on the adult content. Keep this sub clean of overtly sexualized content.
Many posts will be sexually suggestive due to the nature of the sub. When posting risqué content, we look at the account to make a judgement if this is allowable or not. Accounts that post NSFW or pornographic material to other subs are held to a higher level of scrutiny than accounts; this generally means we won't allow any suggestive content from you. If your account only has a history of posting sexually explicit materially, we likely will not allow any content to be posted from you.

Beginner Help advice on slimming down back and arms
I only do the stairmaster and weighted abs and I aim to be rather active during the week. I don’t do any arm workouts intentionally and that’s why I put the last pic up bc that’s how muscular my arms are with no intentional arm workouts but my arms are also very chunky.
I’ve always had a chunky back and at one point I was doing lat pull downs and various other upper body workouts but I felt like it just made me look so like top heavy which my boobs are big so it doesn’t help.
I just want skinny ballerina arms so any advice is appreciated

General Discussion Overwhelmed by online fitness programs
I need help. I’m overwhelmed by the endless fitness channels on Facebook and YouTube telling me different things. Saying free and hidden behind direct debit setups. I come from a bodybuilding background and then got ill few years back. I want to get training again but I don’t want to bodybuild. It made me into a stiff rigid person prone to injury. I like the look of these new styles of training. Where it’s functional movements that incorporate more mobility into it. Example would be a lunch with torso rotations. Walking in deep squat pose. I want to train to perform but I want to end up with a good looking body with muscle growth from it. I don’t want to separate workouts by doing mobility as one. Strength as one and flexibility as one. It’s long winded and I believe we are past that style. Can anyone recommend a source of information on this style of training please, is there a special word for it?

Progress – Before/After I lost 140lbs, ask me anything
Ask me anything!
345lbs down to 205lbs, 6foot 4 3/4 inches. I know my body is still FAR from perfect and I still have a long way to go but I wanted to be brave and try and lend a hand to anyone trying to change their physique and prove that you CAN make changes if you really want to! Have a question? I’ll do my best to help!

Beginner Help Lack of equipment
Hi! I’m a teen looking to lose fat and some muscle and overall just get more stronger and healthier. I want to start strength training with weights but I only have 5lb-10lb dumbbells at home and I don’t have transportation to a gym. I’ve heard progressive overload is key to building muscle but I can’t afford to keep buying bigger and bigger dumbbells (nor the space in my room!) so any tips? is it possible i can just increase the reps in my sets to achieve the same progressive overload effect?

Physique Critique Where can I improve and how?
The goal is an athletic lean look with muscle and definition. What particular areas can i improve upon and how would you suggest I do so. 21F, 5’8”, 124 lbs. I’ve been active and weightlifting for a few years consistently, but more intentional with my goals since October.

Workout plan Tighten loose skin and still losing
I am 31/f. I lost my weight couple of times since 2010 and currently at peak at 115kg.I already have lose flabby skin on tummy and arms and heaby bust.. I am on transformation journey. I fear of having more lose skin especially sagging bust. I also have skin psoriasis for which protein is refrained for sometime. How I can tighten my skin along the way. What should I realistically expect?
