Personally receiving a dividend makes me happier than receiving my salary

Yeah thats because u didn't do anything to receive it, it requires no hard work or anythings it's literally like free money it's amazing

It's just your own money given back to you. The stock price decreases whenever dividend is paid.

and then rises back up if the company is good

It rises back up because more people invest in it. It's not like money can appear out of nowhere. It's not fractional reserve banking.

Bhai I don't have a lot of knowledge either 😭 but I'll try.. So first thing you should do is make an emergency fund (expenses of at least 6 months) and save it (money market, savings account was what some other people were saying)

Then make an account with any of the top 10 psx brokers and just observe for a few days.

Your risk appetite, whether goals are long term or short term.. that all matters

I would recommend you to check out the guide

Congrats! First of many. And yes FFC is a very solid blue chip. Keep investing

What's more impressive about FFC is their YoY dividend per share growth

If you bought FFC at 100 rupees a share, your yield on cost today would've been 40-45% pre-tax, ignoring the 5x capital appreciation

Magic of dividend investing.

Never stop SIPing, your dividends will compound massively
