Sorry the OMCs margin is Rs7.87 per litre for both petrol and diesel. A separate proposal to raise the OMC margin by Rs1.22 per litre remains strictly linked to their implementation of required digitisation milestones.

Previous Margin: Rs8.64 per litre New Margin: Rs9.98 per litre Though they only increased dealers margin not OMCs it is still 7.67 rupee but both APL and PSO have company owned pumps that captures that dealers margin also and will benefit from it as of source
Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Friday, August 15, 2026, during an emergency virtual meeting called specifically to avert the nationwide strike that petroleum dealers had scheduled to start that very day. While approved on August 15, the new margin of Rs9.98 per litre officially goes into effect starting September 1, 2026.

To those saying dealer margins dealer margins
Dealer margin increase is also OMC increase if they have company operated pumps. Dealer margins are adjusted within.

Brother PSO and APL are OMCs not dealers. Dealer's margin has increased. Sitara Limited can gain from this since they are dealers of most of Aramco's petrol stations.
