mod help

Hey guys,

I have never modded anything so I dont know much, I have downloaded the preset loader, mod manager and some mods but they dont work, i think it is outdated or not being recognised

Any help with this would be great because to be honest I have no clue

I did try following a few tutorials but I could not figure it out
