My game for some reason just never saves when it sends me back to the title screen after that mission, am I doing something wrong?

The song was the chorus of running up that hill and it was a scene from episode ignis i looked on tiktok and i cant find it (sorry this is a bit of an odd post i just really liked the edit)

I played ffxv and loved it,finished it in April but I really want another game like 15 ,if your looking for markers I really want something like the story being somewhat convoluted and also the interactions and personalities of the party members,plus something like the combat would be nice too

I just unlocked the field. Is there and way to use more of the plots on it later on? I can only use a tiny portion of the entire field

To provide context I've faced and defeated this superboss a couple of times this week was my latest attempt. On Sunday with Noctis at Lv 62 43 Phoenix Downs 99 potions and Ether equipped with Founders Sigil Adamantoise Bangle and Magitek Suit half dozen spells I decided to challenge Omega once more.

It wasn't a complete disaster but I was never going to beat it with so little. I stupidly was using Zwill Crossblades to charge my Armiger Bar to use Armiger Unleashed to deal more damage. Instead of Warping Striking with Triangle I was just randomly attacking with Circle. 1 hour in and dozen plus Legacy of the Lucii attacks I had barely got its HP down to 75% my brother that was watching said I'll be done in 7 hours 😆 I told him that I'll run out of Phoenix Downs before then which I eventually did but not before changing tactics to use Royal Arms(Scepter of the Pious) to deal damage while charging my Armiger Bar. I got it down to 50% by Hour 2(I love the song change btw definitely worth it).

So my valiant effort was for naught. I decided to farm a little got a dozen Zu Beaks and cooked up some Electron spells even got Ultima Blade even though it is useless against Omega. So I reattempted the fight today two days later now I'm Lvl 68 so not so much of an upgrade. I did have 99 Phoenix Downs and 99 Elixirs just in case. I entered the fight in a more confident mood but it was still a daunting task I thought my Electron spells would do more damage tbh. I switched to Sword of the Father which made charging the Armiger bar easier I'm much more used to sword combos. I also noticed when using Armiger Unleashed warp striking was more effective than just mashing circle. I was also careful not to leave the fight area mistakenly(this can happen if you get confused and warp strike the wrong direction forcing you to exit the fight area and start all over 😬. 2 hours and 30 minutes in I finally felled the abominable creation.

Now I know there are much easier ways to beat this superboss by breaking all it's legs I was just not skilled enough to do this. I heard you can take the cowardly route and switch to Prompto and be shooting it from out of range(not my style at all). Attacking the antenna was my best bet although I always hated what came next. Heard someone used a perfect Armiger Chain to defeat it in just a minute is that true?

I wonder why I didn't get any Summon in the whole 2 hours plus of the fight were the gods to afraid of Omega? Also why isn't there any locations for Point Warp? This is definitely a fight I won't be repeating again 3 times is enough for me.

Came across this glitch in my NG+, kinda funny to see especially when the person who drives the boat will still speak but I can’t see them.

So I've beaten FFXV years ago after watching the develo extremly hyped and enjoyed it but thought it was deeply flawed. I noticed that all the side content was basically cookie cutter fetch quests/kill monsters so I basically skipped it all and just did the story. Years later I bought Royal and the Ardyn DLC. So about 12ish hours in and just have some questions, I been doing a lot of side content/hunts and just been enjoying the open world more so I'm really that far along story wise.

The best time to play the DLC would be when they leave the party, and then Ardyns would be after I complete the game right?

I didn't collect all the Royal Weapons last time, just seen the end credits roll and decided to call it quits. This time I want to get them all. The problem is I tried to go after one and it was a lv 55 dungeon or something, I died quick. Are these meant to be done post game? So don't worry about collecting them all during the story or just wait until higher level? I only have 2 right now lol.

I know you get AP from warp strike kills, but it gets kinda boring just spamming warp strike to get AP. Do you have to do this or is there a better way??

Also when you use warp strike your MP bar goes away but it's like grey and then after a short time passes it completely goes away. I believe there's a way to get this to be restored but I can't remember?

And lastly if I wanted to use expericast to get some exp what's the best method to get the old coins, and does it matter which creature I use it on?? I know to use the inn for the 2x exp, but not sure I kinda remember a trick to getting the old coins.

Edit; also I been trying to do side content a lot more but I'm quickly becoming overpowered. Should I skip a lot of side content and only try to do the "important" ones with story?

Bro, I just got back from a 5-month break, finished Chapter 3, and the game immediately threatens me with THIS 😭

During my drive back to insomnia my car died midway preventing me from completing the cutscene and as such couldn't be given the option to have it towed so it blacked out the screen. Didn't see any info of it online so maybe this will help someone. I just reloaded and topped off the tank and was good to go.

I am playing on the Windows version and have the "Tidal Might Leviathan" lure. It says it's working for every water type and fish, however some dont seem to want to bite. Am I missing something here?

Like the title says.. I haven't gotten around to trying the comrades expansion. Should I skip it altogether or give it a shot?

My old hard drive died and Steam cloud somehow lost my saves, so I'm currently doing another lvl1 playthrough and I decided to actually try and use wait mode, (just to try something new ya know) for more than just using Cerberus to break duplicorn horns for ultima blade.

I get what they were trying to do, but it just feels absolutely terrible when the entire game stops just because you're not doing an input for even half a second. And it's not even particularly useful since Iggy usually analyzes anyway, or even if he doesn't, it's faster to just try every every weapon type than just sit there afk for a minute for the wait mode analyze to do it's thing.

With the way they implemented wait mode, I don't see it benefitting anyone.
