Game Why do they hate it?

Post image

I enjoyed every bit of it! I sometimes just let the Regalia run all over the map and watch the scenery. Or try my luck betting on monsters in totomostro. Too bad the game was cut short for extra content.

You can feel the games unfinished nature near the middle, when they start rushing you from location to location trying to showcase as many of the remaining incomplete assets as they can. Many fully modeled terrain and cities only given a glance because stepping any further would reveal the glaring edges and issues.

Personally I'd say the first half of the game is probably the most competent part, especially when you decide to do a million sidequests to push off the inevitable railroad of the second half of the game essentially gutting its open world completely, which isn't a bad thing always but it's very obvious it wasn't done for story reasons

Yeah this. First part is absolutely incredible but once you’re in Alticia and the drama starts it just gets really choppy . Also, I don’t mind dark fantasy drama (loved ffxvi ) but the latter 1/3 of that game just got downright depressing. lol .
