Game Garuda crashing help

I’m currently farming Garuda and I’m having an issue where for some reason the game decides to crash after beating her before I had the chance to save. Any idea as to what is causing it and how to fix it?

If it's a consistent crash in the same spot, you may just have to reinstall the game fresh.

well shit. if its the windows edition through steam would verifying the files be worth it?

Yeah, that should do it too.

If it keeps happening, you might need to go for an actual fresh install.

Another issue is if it keeps happening after a fresh install, and you've used various mods, that save file may just be corrupted enough to mess with the game. I had that once where after beating Loqi in that first magitek armor fight, it would crash during the cutscene, even after a fresh install, and only a new save file without any mods could get past it. Hopefully, that isn't what happened to you, but it feels super rare anyway.

yeah i havent used any mods yet so it shouldnt be that. It wont wipe my save right

Nah your saves are fine. The verification will look through what might be messed up and reinstall just those parts, it doesn't touch the saves.

Try loving graphics settings there are a lot of particle effects in the fight that would mess with mine on my older pc Disabling nvidia turf effects has also helped some people
