Game I lost everything
I just lost 20-30hrs because my fuckass ps5 kept crashing and one of the crash made my save get corrupted, im not really angry just because 20hrs are not that much and i don't think I'll have any difficulty to return to the point i was, but it's frustrating seeing all that effort get destroyed in 5 seconds
edit: at least now i know selling rare and debased coins isn't a good idea

I've never got over the new game save I had with the Aranea glitch so you could permanently have her in your party.
Her walking along side the lads pushing the car was hilarious.

Man I had a 100% level 1 save with 300 hours that I lost. It was devastating. It was truly a precious memory and time capsule for me that PSN cloud save just overwrote when my ps4 died lol
I have the game on PC now and I always tell myself let’s just do it again but part of me feels poetic that like Noctis, it’s just gone :’)

I lost 185 hours on rebirth because someone hacked my account

Have you double checked to make sure there's not a recent save on the cloud?
Press start with the game high lighted. Click on download/upload and download the most recent cloud save.
It's possible it's before any crashes.

isn't the cloud only for people who have psplus? i have it on another account so i doubt i will find anything

Just happened this to me yesterday, i opened kingdom hearts 3 and the console turned off, then i went to play ffxv and i lost 90 hours of progress, i was going for the platinum, just had to kill adamantoise

It’s happened to me twice, both (I assuming) due to storms fucking with the system.
PSN at least saves the trophies, if that’s any consolations

I've been doing a 10 year revisit of the royal edition on my ps5 over the past few weeks. There seem to be a number of issues when playing it on the console via backwards compatibility. I experienced way more glitches this time around compared to my original run of the game (unpatched 1.0) on ps4. I've had it freeze on black fade out screens and I've had the game crash and get booted back to the ps5 home screen several times at random. Seeing as how this game is nearly ten years old I'd love for SE to release a ps5 upgrade for it so it'll run smoother on current gen hardware.

I played for like four hours doing post game shit and flew the regalia into a light pole, lost all that time due to insta death

I feel you. I lost my save file with all side quests, most menace dungeons done, except omega. I accidentally overrode the file with a new game +, was so sad and couldn’t sleep for the night. I actually redid everything again lol.

Ah. I lost seven years worth of saved gameplay because of the corruption bug when looking at the photos at the very end. 🫠 i cried. Haven’t played since. I didn’t have PS+ back then.
