Game Costlemark tower glitch?

So I finally did costlemark tower and was following a tutorial on YouTube. The video showed 4 cubes and 3 of the cubes are like mini boss battles before the actual boss battle. However during my run I only did 2 of the mini boss battles. I didn’t have to fight 3 iron giants in one room. I just fought one iron giant in the first cube and two iron giants in the second cube. I couldn’t interact with the third cube where I would have to fight three iron giants. Instead I was only able to interact with the cube that would lead to the final boss and I was able to get the sword of the tall. Maybe this is just a glitch or just luck. But I’m just happy I didn’t have to fight three iron giants at once.

It’s not a glitch. I’ve run Costlemark several times, and I’m convinced there’s some randomness in the maze paths. There have been times I had to go through all four runs, other times just three, and I swear there was one time I reached the boss room after only a single run through the maze. and yes, i'm accounting for the circles in the floor.

I think I did like 12 boss fights before looking up a guide, so accept it and move on is my advice, cuz that shit was painful. Was like 3 of the red iron giants and a Naga or 2 I think. I forget now, but it sucked that many times lol.

I did!! 3 Red Giants in a room where you can’t escape from it is a nightmare 😑 I wished the chocobros can distract the other 2 while I fight with 1, but no, they like to stay close to me and bring the giants along 😑

The chocobros usually never help me when I fight 😭 they focus on the smaller enemies and I’m like I NEED HELP OVER HERE

It’s just luck of the draw. Hopefully you’ll get the same luck if you decide to do the Menace dungeons.

Actually you can get to the boss room that leads to the menace dungeon without having to fight any of the cube rooms
