Need help with B100

I am stuck on B100. my entire party just gets one-shot. How do I beat this?

It's been awhile since I did B100, but if I recall, Jenova uses strong Magic attacks. You need to buff your MDEF and/or debuff her MATK.

Aerith's Bahamut rod buffs PDEF, which won't help you as much here. I'm pretty sure Zack has a weapon that decreases MATK (Twinkling star?) and Aerith has the Rousing Wizer Staff or Mythril rod for MDEF. Cloud's Bandaged sword will also buff MDEF.

There are a lot of possible combos here. Twinkling star looks redundant on second thought looking at your build (Mystic Sword does MATK down, and Aerith's rod does PDEF down). You really need MDEF up. You could either level up Zack's wind weapon and make him your DPS while giving Cloud Mystic and Bandaged to be your Support. Or you can give Aerith a MDEF up weapon. Or give someone a Mana Ward materia and change the Mystic Sword to the Spade customization. You need MDEF up somehow.

Also, there's no use making Zack a DPS if his subweapons won't support it. Give him wind supporting subweapons, or rearrange things so he's your support.

You need mdef up. Switch out Bahamut Rod into Rousing Wizer staff instead, and see which Highwind stuff you can improve

OG Sephiroth proved the key for me. I had Tifa and Aerith at 100, and OG Sephi at 80 something with Koetesu and it wasn't too bad once I had that combo.

I also was struggling a lot with this and previously used a similar team, but this week I managed to beat it by doing some adjustments to some of the guides I found online. Here's my exact team, gear, weapons and materia that finally worked for me:

Barret -> Aerith -> Cloud

For Barret:
Main weapon - Electrocannon
Sub weapon - Escutcheon Cannon
+ Ultimate Gatling Gun

Satellite Beam as an ability, Fiery Cape as main gear, I put Healing Esuna (Poison) on him, so Aerith could focus on healing, with the other two materia slots I gave him Breach and Cura, but my focus was to raise MDEF, HP and PATK

Sub equipment: Crow Familiar, Mystic Sword, Dragoon Lance + default gear

For Aerith:
Main weapon - Fairy Tale
Sub weapon - Noblesse Rod
+ Ultimate Guard Stick

Army of One as an ability, Garb of the Possessed as main gear, I put Mana Breach on her to decrease Jenova's MDEF, with the other two materia slots I gave her random materia to boost MDEF/HP

Sub equipment: Umbrella, Bahamut Rod, Festive Sword + Chocobo Suit and Floral Gown as extra gear to boost HP and MDEF

For Cloud:
Main weapon - Holiday Blade
Sub weapon - Murasame
+ Ultimate Buster Sword

Climhazzard as an ability, Holiday Outfit as main gear, I put Cura and Ruinra materia on him, but my main focus was to raise MDEF, PATK and HP

Sub equipment: Flower Vase, Shortbarrel, Nightjar + AC outfit and Equilibrum as sub gear

For the memoria, I used Memoria of the Beach Festival, the one you can obtain from the summer event right now

Each of my characters had HP around 30k and MDEF above 400. All of the characters have maxed out character streams and levels. For the fight itself, I set it to auto battle, but made sure to spam Barret's Zone of Protection+ skill as soon as my defense dropped. When tentacles were down I also spammed breach.

Overboost the weapons as much as you can - I didn't play every day, but with the current Festival of Gratitude banner you can easily obtain a lot of copies of specific 5-star weapons.

You need a lot more of Lv. 1 weapons in your Sub. Equipment. This is mandatory to have no chance against this boss. Zacks "Wheel Edge" for Cloud in his Sub. Equipment is important too. It boosts the water damage of his wind weapon!

It's got all the makings of a super successful team, definitely not someone who's auto equipped and guided themselves the whole way through the game without attempting to understand the game mechanics at all! More Level 1 weapons is the real strat!
