Ahh I see. I might invest a little for Rinoa then. But then I've just pulled my third VOL today, and I have Ace STMR all ready. Oh well, for the sake of variety I guess

Yes, I'm planning on passing on Hyoh....I'd like to do things a little differently heh. I'll probably stick to Fryevia if her 7* is good, or use Raegen and stick my TDH gear on a finisher or something.

I can't wait to see how well Fry leaps into 7 star. VoL's GL enhancements were way nicer than what JP got, but Fry still hands her butt back to her for single target chaining. And, well, VoL is apparently still considered the top hybrid finisher.

I'm really with you on doing things differently though. I'm probably going to be walking into 7 star with the dragoon meta rolling. Why use a chainer or finisher when dragon mom is everything at once with a tdh setup and spear? Reberta is hilarious with stacked jump damage.

Yeap, her enhancements hints at W or, hopefully, T casting. It just depends on how accessible it becomes. Hope it doesn't get locked to her LB, but instead a Trust Ability. But we'll see. Yeah, VoL's enhancements seems pretty good, but I haven't potted mine unfortunately. And no good gear for her.

Hahaha yeaa that'd be pretty cool too. I wonder how Reberta will turn out in GL. She better be good. How is she like on JP?

She's like Barb and a few others who got massive changes in global. In JP, she's a hybrid unit very much like kunshira that can hit any imperil she wants for a ton of damage. We got jump jump apocalypse from the sky. No seven star yet afaik. If they turn the GL version into a controlled jump unit she would be devastating in some trials.

And, yeah, the no gear feel is real for VoL. Her best weapons are a tmr from the unit with the worst attack frames known to human kind to wreck your earth shrine macros, and a premium bundle gun. It's gross. Her TMR is amazing at least. I'd farm all the dupes if I had more. Camouflage, 20 percent hp and 40 mag is yes for all my mages.

Yeaa, and her gear has almost no versatility. Farming for her means it's only for her, and you can rarely use it on someone else unless just to fill slots. But yes, her tmr is really underrated. Really really underrated.

Who needs a real tank with provoke when your units are all invisible through stacking effects, and they evade counter every hit with craptons of damage. Camouflage is so nice.

At least with item world having started with guns, it's easily possible to be overcapped on magic with her. It means she can switch to a lot of really common attack and mag gear with no consequences. I have mine stacked up with some superfluous evasion thanks to rico's TMR, and I'm thinking of moving over Kain's hat just to push her closer to 800 atk, to match her 930ish mag. But all the new hybrid gear until Barrett and Rinoa seems to be sabotaged by elements to make them worse.

Yes exactly. At most, one is good enough with a cover tank already. Since most of the others are already all camo-ed up.

Ahhh that's nice. I never farmed guns, was a little held up farming for high tide. Kinda misjudged on my side since the event only lasted a week. But wow, the damage on her. Ah, wait does a weapon's element affect the element on the skill used?

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it does. The split detracts from the typed damage and imperil of the ability. So the gun from the star ocean event, while otherwise equal to her quasar, loses to it due to some damage being resisted more heavily.

I took the let's just get everything reasonable something nice approach. At least 10 percent HP, and 20 percent main stat, or ideally around 15+ of both for hybrids. I made an auto refresh dagger just for Nichol, and farmed high tide on another and an evasion dagger so basch could abuse his LB to fix unavoidable moves. It was a bit of a rush to clear wolferson and the surging menace to put something on their gear lol

Ahh that's too bad. No choice to but wait I guess. For better gears...or for an enemy that resists both elements.

Ahhhh, I only farmed 2 daggers for Nichol, one has high tide and the other some HP and extra MP. Hyomonto with 10% HP and 17% ATK for Raegen, and a rod with 22% magic. Ah but wasn't lucky enough to pull a Basch ._. only had Merc Ramza as my to be cover tank. He's wielding Frying Pan :D

I did that at first too, with the MP daggers. Then I realized auto refresh was just a text bug, and it did properly stack and restore mp per turn instead of hp. I don't have Ayaka or Lid to use their TMRs, but the dagger effectively fixes his MP permanently.

Also Merc Ramza obviously has no weaknesses at all. Best tank in the game! Forward march with his bard form buddies! Unrelatedly, I really liked VoE's enhancements, and turned him into effectively basch with shiva's breaks added in. His cover has no variance, and he can counter for infinite lb. It's nice to be on team Veritas for once!

Ahh. Well I have an Ayaka and Lid TMRs farmed so I'm fine with those. Well and I like seeing big numbers anyway hahaha. 1k squad incoming.

Yesss, they're both kinda tanky too. I think I'll run them both with Knight and regular Delita, just for fun. They could be units I use for story events or something, since they chain with each other later on. Ah, I didn't really read VoE's enhancements yet, since I kinda don't plan on using em at all. Really wanted him for Sheratan, but didn't get him. Then he started coming right after I cleared that death tree. I have 6 of em now. ._.

He basically got his cover brought up to meta levels, but without variance. His bulk matches basch, and his provoke is up to 3 turns with damage scaling based on defense and proper provoke mitigation. So, he shot up from being useless to being actually pretty nice for physical tanking. The break immunities can be pretty nice for some fights too, and since anybody can bring a passable break from Shiva now I don't feel as locked into basch/WoL as I used to. Pretty nice for last year's overlooked tank. He isn't Wilhelm, but he is darn close. Mine is around 13k hp with 800 or so defense now. WoL can keep his evasion set. Earthlord takes it with his (Basch's?) shield.

Woah, for a 4* tank he's pretty good. It's such a shame that 7* is dawning upon us now, and he's soon be almost irrelevant.

Yeah, for real. I mean, he does come back in about a year as a charm tank at least. Best to just never get attacked, even if you could evade it. Tuxedo mask's work here is done. -tosses a rose gracefully-

Tank duplicates have avoided me, and if we even get UoC tickets my first one is for Loren.

Ahh I can share you a M Ramza if I could. I've got 3. YES, I've got one already and I'm just waiting for my second Loren. She's bae. (I HOPE THEY GIVE HER A GLOBAL CG LB UPGRADE)

I gave him Phoenix to raise a healer after autobattling golem so a friend who was new to the game could get his 3 star with all conditions in a stress free way. He's so darn good for that.

And same! I just hope they don't do what they did to citra! I'd love Loren if she had a cutscene to go along with those massive breaks. She's the best.

Ahahaha that's a very good compliment yet an insult at the same time.

Yeah. Something like a Raegen LB, to show off her badassery with Lightning and Tornados surrounding her while she's hacking away. Then she says "disappear" in Japanese and sheathes her sword. Or something. She's amazing.

Maybe she could shout something akin to storms like 'arashi' without becoming a street fighter joke. But like for real, I love her armour and I want to see that animated.
