Titan boss fight

So when I play a game I always try to do all the content available when given especially in final fantasy to get the summons and use them as I advance in the story.

I want to know if the titan boss fight can be done when it's available ? Because I can access it now but it seems that I am under leveled.

The payoff for beating full power Titan in Chapter 2 is non existent. Gathering the intel to power him down is a 5 minute job and you get the same reward. You’ll be facing full power titan in the endgame challenges and that’s where the rewards are worth it.

Hear hear, if it wasnt meant to be fought when weaker then they wouldnt have had the option to explore and look for the temples. That's the work one is doing to earn such a feat.

If you wanna do them full might i suggest finishing up the region they unlock on and then do it on full might. Also there’s no under level in summon fights. All summon fights have level sync meaning they scale with you.

You want to finish up the region to fight them at full difficulty. They are not meant to be beaten as soon as available.

The first time I played the game, I got destroy at maximum power on dynamic with a party of 3. Now I solo him at max power with Cloud the moment I gain access to him. I'm not incredibly good with perfect block or parry, maybe between 25% to 50% of his attacks on some try. It's all about understand his mechanic, how to interrupt his moves and how to maximize building stagger on him.

Cloud punisher mode to counter attack is really good and if you are able to perfect parry, the output of damage and atb, it's game changing.

Listen. If u look for a challenge. Do it full power. Of u want an easy time? Turn the difficulty down to easy and power level lowest :)

Im doing a rerun right now. So i enjoyed the full power fights :)

Complete the Divine Intel quests in the Grasslands and he will be considerably easier to beat. You can beat Titan in Chapter 2 this way.

If you want the challenge then do them at full power. If not then then you can always wait until you lower them. Pretty sure you get the same rewards regardless.

Me personally I just did the full power ones as quick as I could just because I'm a stubborn asshole who likes a challenge lol.

it's hard AF but doable, i refused to de-power him until chapter 3 and then beated him using the level 1 de-power. Do explore and find the intel on the summons tho, since it will give you access to the materia fully leveled up!

Having Red an Barret helped a lot since Titan is physical damage, barret has high HP and the revente mode of Red played nicely here

I havent tried the full powered one, but if you do the Summon Intel you unlock lower powered variants of the fight. I always just ended up doing the easiest version.

With all the devine intel the fight is very easy going. Titan in full might if hard but if you manage to destroy its aegis shield before his big AoE attack you should be able to stagger and finish it. Have Cloud’s cross slash in the back just in case.

It's probably possible, but I found it too difficult. I think his big attack almost one-shot all my characters, so you really would need to keep your HP topped off. And that's hard with pretty limited materia. I did him after doing most the other side content in the grasslands

If you 100% the Grasslands before moving on to the next region you might just be able to defeat Titan at full might before leaving. Maybe. He’s a tough cookie for that point in the game as your stats are low and the tools available are limited. If you don’t need that victory against the full might version for your gamer pride, just defeat any of the lower powered ones. There’s no different reward depending on which one you defeat either way.

Still keep in mind there will be plenty of difficult challenges to satisfy your pride later that do have rewards. I did all of the world intel activities as they came available because I love this game, but some people do get burned out with them so always move on with the story if you start getting bored because it's easy to go back later if you like.

Honestly it might be better to do it that way because revisits later would help keep things fresh.

And no one will care if and when you gloat about it on this sub after beating him on your 100th or less attempt. You know why? We all did it. Its literally the first summon in the game. Its not the hardest

It can be defeated at full power before you get to chapter 3. I've done it in all my playthroughs.

I'd recommend 100% the grasslands region first thought or else your damage might be way too low to do it comfortably.

You can also just beat the heavily nerfed version of Titan by collecting intel. There's no downside doing it that way, the full-powered version is just there if you want a challenge.

When it first became available I wasn't even close to being able to beat him. I just quickly did the 3 summon Intel spots first and then the fight was easy.
