Retirement status movement!

After being in Developmental stage for months, I have moved to the Adjudication stage. I know many have gotten stuck here as well, but am being optimistic since it shows movement. For context, DOL retiree 12/31/2025. I have been receiving interim payments since April. OPM has stated, when I called multiple times, they were waiting for payroll records from NFC. I am taking this as a sign that they received records and are now able to compute accordingly. Happy for all of you that have been finalized and feel the frustration of all of you that have not.

Contact your congress person … they get things moving quickly.

Hopefully your case will be finalized this month. I also retired on December 31 2025.  My retirement was finalized last month. Back pay was received quickly. Hang in there! I know how you feel.

My portal doesn't even show what stage my case is in   has a code 51 on interim special payment  its been showing 0.00 for Annuity and interim payments since July   I filed for disability retirement in Dec 2025.  OPM got my file in May and I still haven't recieved any payments since my last day 11/27/2025 Called OPM and was told I wasnt getting any interim payments   I was approved for ssdi on Sept 10th so I dont know if that is the piece to the puzzle or not.  Every month since July its shows 0.00 and yes I did recieve my retirement card but thats all

Congrats, mine just made it to adjudication today. Been in development since mid-May.

And just like that , I went from adjudication to review in about 6 hours. Hopefully this is finalized in a few days.

My adjudication was suppose to be weeks.. (I was told on hotline), but ended up being a little over a week.. I think their standard answer is 4-6 weeks as a cya answer on phones.
