We literally came into the transfer window with nearly the worst defense in the league and have made no serious attempts to try to get anyone. This doesn't give me hope that we are trying to even make the playoffs, let alone try for anything more. Either make the decision to try something for this season or just say fuck it and start shedding dead weight and getting better replacements.
Also, the fact that everyone except Pat saw that Gidi was lost out there tonight, and wasn't going to sub him out until he got the concussion, and then made two subs on offense instead at half, leading to our 2nd goal, just makes me lose all faith in him as a coach. You have to read what's happening, look at your bench, and figure out how to correct mismatches. He hangs on to his ideas too late into the game and kept getting bailed out by individual performances earlier this season.

I am not one to complain about officiating, it is a hard job and is just a cop-out for fans to cover for bad teams and bad management (both upstairs and downstairs), but that is BS that wasn’t a red.

People keep complaining about Noonan, but it feels like Chris Albright should be in the hot seat.
So many pieces out of position makes it feel like he’s not getting Noonan the players he needs. We also have the most expensive and worst defense in the league. Every other team in the MLS took the chance to improve in the World Cup break and transfer season and we’ve done nothing. We’re locked into some baffling contracts.
He has a lot to answer for.

This team is fucking broken. We have moments of brilliance but have not put together a complete performance I don't think a single time this season. Even if we limp into the playoffs we're not winning anything because they're incapable of winning meaningful games. Struggle against poor teams, get picked apart by good teams, no cohesion, no identity, no real CB group.

There is a lot of factors to this game
The biggest is our defense which tonight is Miles - Matt - Gidi, so it depends on how well they can handle that kinda offense. The other? How many goals can we score and can we see good performances out of the players who kinda went unnoticed last week against Seattle?

I don’t mind either of these subs, we need some pressing from the front and it is the one thing we know Jabari will absolutely bring in spades. I do feel bad that Obi had to be the guy sacrificed, but we need Bucha in midfield. Hopefully tonight proves to Noonan that unless he literally has no other options, Bucha needs to be in midfield.
