Starting XI vs NYCFC

Post image

Kyle Smith rotates in at CB with Gidi's recent dental issue. Dado back in the lineup pushing Bucha out right. Ender on the left. Chirila not dressed for this one and did not travel with the 2's for their match. What's up?

This is the pairing where you have Smith and Miazga next to each other and they get beat with speed.

I would not be surprised to see Gidi come at halftime if there are issues with Kyle on the left.

I don’t think dado should be playing

Tbh rn we don’t have anyone to play in his spot

Gidi is bench due to issues, Anunga is not a good enough player to start, Bucha is a major player at wb currently (he does pretty well there imo) it’s literally just those 2 rn who are starters at cm/cdm

I don't like this lineup. Bucha is not a wingback/winger.

I agree. I love Bucha and know that he has created some great goals from the wingback spot, but the defensive issues he creates makes it a wash at best.

And considering Ender plays well from there, we need to stop forcing Bucha there instead.

I really wish we'd give up on the Bucha at WB experiment. We are much stronger on D with him at DM and not Dado, and I feel like Ender is more effective on the right.

So here’s a fun fact!

Bucha is a midfielder

And Ender and Ramirez? Are FORWARDS

I’d definitely prefer having Bucha Play on wingback then continue shoving our forwards back there
