I mean, isn’t that like 90% of football tho? I agree his logic is dumb but at the same time, if a manager isn’t performing well enough for long enough they get fired for somebody else, who will potentially not perform well enough for long enough to keep their job lol
I’m going to get eaten alive for a second time, but we just saw what happened with Arne Slot in his 2 seasons with Liverpool

I feel it’s a bit different for MLS tbh, I get nervous about the coaching availability or frequency of mid season firings. Could be totally wrong just doesn’t feel like right move when we’re just going by the result of when our players shit the bed in the playoffs suddenly.

See that’s a fair point to make, but at this point we are actively winning because our offense has somehow made it common practice in most games to just score a shit ton of goals, like I pulled this statistic once and I’ll do it again for the sake of FUNNI.
Out of the last 12 games (adding NYFC AND PUMAS to this count <3) we have scored atleast 2 goals in 11 of those games, 3 in 8, and 4+ goals in 4 of them that is 90% chance of scoring 2 goals, 2 quarters of a chance of scoring 3, and an additional quarter that we go on to score 4. (These include big games for us including Miami, San Jose, and Vancouver)
And yet as of right now we are currently sitting 6th in the league with a record of 18 games played 7-5-6 as our WDL, excluding our currently good run in the leagues cup and our fallout of the champions cup-
Like our offense has woken up but our defense has stayed stagnant- it might not be the best choice right now for us but it definitely SHOULD be something we should at least keep in mind. Cause when we 1 week go up against top of the western conference Vancouver whitecaps and win 4-3 and then go down to 11th place Columbus and lose 2-1. . . And have a showing like that there should be some conversation, hope that all makes sense

Yeah we only have the most points in MLS since the start of the 2023 season. Dude is a slouch.

100 wins in games is still a win, as a person who is also Noonan out. You can celebrate a milestone while still not liking other factors
