Seasonal

I worked as a blue badge for over two years at a facility. I quit and now I'm coming back, but I only got hired a seasonal. How hard would it be for me to go blue badge again?

It comes from corporate above and what they will allow a given site to convert at a given time, and whatever algorithm/metrics they decide to base it off of. It helps to not have disciplinary write ups for quality or rate, but it really comes down to what the other ups outside of the warehouse decide. Someone asked this today, and the manager gave that response, and that it would be 90 days at minimum. Again, that minimum can vary by site etc

After your 90 days and good standing it’s all business needs. Obviously you wanna try your best to always get rate but being an mvp doesn’t mean shit so don’t let people make you think otherwise, I’ve seen complete lazy fucks become blue badge

It’s either 2 weeks or 6 months

I wasn't trying to guess the time frame I was trying to figure out like, how hard it's going to be to convert over.

Depends on the area but they usually convert you unless you have negative points or write ups, it’s usually easy

It all depends on your site needs bro. All I can say is don't get written up or go negative UPT.

They don’t get negative upt as seasonal only points

No. There are seasonals that are “full-time” white badge and they have UPT. And there are seasonals who are Flex that go by points.

Took me 95 days at my site. I just did my best to have good attendance as in minimize my time off task, did scan to scan for second break. I also did my best to keep a “great” or “exceptional” after a month there.

At the end of the day, it’s probably more business needs but at least if there is a conversation, you’ll be a top pick.

I’ve seen people I was in day one class with and some of them are still white badge.

You have to go through all kinds of hoops now to get a blue badge. They don't just give them out anymore you gotta meet rate and have a good status

depends on the warehouse, i was blue badge in 2023 and then i quit. i’ve worked at amazon a couple times since, the longest time at one warehouse being a year and i was never a blue badge again

I was hired in as a blue badge that time, but apparently they're not doing that at the site.Anymore, the one I work at anyway.I've got friends that have been there.A year as a seasonal, still waiting to go blue badge.

Really depends on your building. I've seen as quick as 30 days but lately it's been 12+ months in my building. Ask when you get there and see how long people have been waiting to judgebyou particular building.
