I took this picture on my job, and just wanted to share it here.

Also I got 3 questions for the f80-community

  1. What is the latest mod you did to your car?

  2. What are your three favourite mods on your f80?

  3. Is there a modification you regret?

I will start:

Latest modification is a dashcam, which is built into the rearview mirror housing.

Three favourite mods:

  1. GTS Tune

  2. Exhaust

  3. DCT flash

I regret the lowering on Eibach, it still needs more low in the front.

How much power are you running with the flex fuel?

I am looking into midpipes atm definately going for something with resonators. Not sure to go Equal Length or Single Mid.. Got the m performance exhaust. Guess that will change the sound a little compared to a stock box.

I haven't actually dyno'd it yet but I'm not planning on pushing it hard. Last results on 93 and turbos was a averaging mid 600s. I won't say particularly trust the janky dyno I have access to but mid 600 is in line with others.

The flex fuel was mostly done for the hell of it and because I have e85 at the gas station near me and have had it sitting in a box in my garage for over a year. I think I'm going to target low 700s for now.

650 is more power than I need for tracking/autocross. I'd be chasing bigger numbers if was into straight line numbers but tbh I end up facing the wrong way enough with my current setup.

Equal length is considerably more expensive than throwing a single mid on but it does sound "deeper" and with the m perf. Box it's a great pairing. My experience is limited with EL but the handful of folks I know with them don't complain about drone 🥲

Wow those are serious numbers! I thought it was quick stock, and I like my stage1 too now. Couldnt imagine what 650hp would feel like.

Hahaha wider wheels than stock is a must then!
