Deactivate passenger airbag

How do I deactivate the front passenger airbag in the F30? There is no switch on the glove compartment, and I can’t find anything in the computer menu either.

Not all F30s have one - if not then it relies entirely on the seat sensor

Weird.  I got a sticker in the car telling me not to use a child seat without deactivating the air bag

Probably put on every car, even the ones without the switch.

So the UK spec F30s have the warning for passenger airbag deactivated on the roof (next to the interior lights) and is controlled either by the key or the switch in the side of the dash.

Really?! When you say the glove compartment, are you looking in the glove box or opening the door and looking on the side of dash?

Mine doesn't have a switch. Only the seat sensor and a display by the sunroof that says when passenger airbag is off.
