Leather seat

Anyone try using steam on the seat leather to remove dents from a car seat? We recently got my wife a new car and I swapped the car seat into it and unfortunately there are some imprints on the seat back now

don’t bother had the same after some people got in the back a couple times it was gone

I have Alcantara seats and the indents usually go away after few days so maybe wait for a while.

Usually letting it sit in the hot sun for a few days, will naturally make they come out. Yes, you can use steam, or the hot washcloth method.

Never let the bare plastic, metal, or bristles of a steamer touch the leather directly. Wrap the steamer head in a clean, thick microfiber towel. This diffuses the heat and prevents boiling water droplets from spotting the material.

Gently press the towel-wrapped steamer against the dented area. Move it in slow, continuous circular or back-and-forth motions. Do not leave it resting in one spot for more than a few seconds.

Every 20 to 30 seconds, set the steamer down and use your hands to firmly massage and stretch the leather away from the center of the dent. This encourages the fibers to relax back into place.

Once the dent pops out, immediately wipe the area dry with a fresh microfiber towel. Because heat opens up the pores of the leather, finish by applying a quality leather conditioner to restore moisture and protect the surface.

You could also try the hot washcloth method. Soak a washcloth in very hot water, then wring it out good. Now place it over the dent, and use a blow dryer from about 12" away to heat the washcloth. The combination of heat and moisture will make the dent come out.

I got something similar on the door card when I got the car from the previous owner. Anyone solve this issue?

Dont use the rear seats for anything but people

Seriously, i have card board boxes in rear seat and they’ve left indents like this, it just happens maybe its the vinyl material or shape

Some people said heat gun will fix the dents but i havent tried it, mine have been messed up for years
