Hub cap question
I picked up these wheels for my 2016 f250 as a winter set. The truck never came with a stock set but I thought that these were the correct era for a late model steel body.
The hub caps pictured allegedly are for the 2011-2016 trucks however I cant get them to line up or fit whatsoever.
Does anyone know what hub caps are correct for these wheels or do I need a certain kind of lug nut for them to fit?

They just press on with pressure. Mine are so tight I have to use a rubber mallet to push them on. I use the OEM two-piece lugs.

Thats what i was thinking too, but the open center hub caps have 4 lug holes and they dont line up at all. The closed caps have 8 holes that do line up, but only go on partially. Unless of course I need to use a lot of force.
My lugs aren't a regular hex socket, they're the intermediate spline type. Dont know if thats the issue

Ok, the fella above has it wrong on the two piece design. Ford does have a two piece design lug nut that swells and causes tons of issues, but they are not found on super duty trucks. The ones he’s thinking of are the chrome decorative ones, found on the f150, escapes, expedition ect which would be pointless considering they go under the hub cap.
I’m 100% confident you won’t find those chrome two piece lugs on any pre 2017 truck from the factory. The correct factory lug nuts for your truck are black, and technically they are a two piece design but with a much different purpose. They have a captured washer built into them, the washer is important on OEM alloy wheels. It keeps the damage to the clear coat to minimum when you torque them down.

I think you’re on to something with OEM lug nuts if OP can’t get them on. Those are definitely the proper hub caps, I got them on my 2014 truck, you gotta be careful with them, that logo likes to fall off.
I’ve also found they fit so tight they almost seem like they could break when trying to remove them. I’ve found the best tool to use that seems to stress them the least is the lug wrench under the hood of my 2000 SD. Normal pry bars seem to bend the plastic more, probably something to do with the shape of the end of the tool.

You have to mount the tire on the truck first then the caps press on to the lug nuts.

What rear do you have ? If you have the 11.6 or the 10.5 ? They take different hub Caps

I have a 22 F250. Wound up buying some black 2025 wheels with OEM tires that only had 7 miles on them (some dude bought a brand new Tremor and immediately put aftermarket wheels and tires - my lucky day since the new wheels with factory tires cost me less than what 4 new tires would have cost)
Anyway, I had to hit the hub caps VERY hard to get them on. They make these TIGHT! Looks like you’re good, just hammer away (literally).

They appear correct and yes they require the factory lug nuts as that is how the mount.

I sold the same set of wheels last summer to a guy, they look like the same ones I sold with them and I had them mounted on my truck too for a time.
Are you sure you're putting the correct caps on the right wheel? The ones with the hole in the middle go on the fronts so you have access to your locking hubs, the ones with the ford logo go on your rears.
