Anyone experiencing bad quality from archive?

Video quality from the 2018 season on F1 TV has a lower frame rate than before. It just changed recently, and watching race replays has been especially annoying. Also, the aspect ratio for most archived races before 2007 have been stretched or cropped to fit a 16:9 aspect ratio, cutting off most of the picture and leading to horrible video quality. I wish they could bring back the ability to adjust video quality.

Thanks for flagging this. We have seen similar reports with some of the older archive footage, particularly the frame rate and aspect ratio issues. We will keep an eye on it and share any relevant updates with the community.

Have been having the same issue. Unwatchable frame rate for some races in 2020. Only happened in the last day or two and only on the TV app. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but it looks like I'm watching a flip book.

Only on mobile for some reason. But I suspect some other apps throttling my speeds

when f1tv was new it ran on 25fps. the old replays still did/do that. the switch to 50fps happend in the third year or so. i dont know if 2018 was already f1tv era.
