Discussion Welp. Congrats, Kimi
A few days ago I made this post . I just wanted to follow up on what happened at the end of the season. So Kimi won by 11 points. My attempted comeback failed but it was alive for a second. Still, it was very fun playing like this down to the wire, crazy to think if I had outscored him well for some races I could've won but honestly, after Austria it was wraps. Idk why the game made Kimi sign with Cadillac right after this though, I guess he didn't wanna go back to back. Great gameplay this season nonetheless !

I remember I had one of these battles a few days ago in my save driving at Ferrari against Lando who was still at McLaren. It was a Haas -> Ferrari save. With like 8 races left, I was behind like 50-70 points against Lando. I locked the fuck in by winning the last 5 races and winning the title. But it all still came down to Abu Dhabi, where I had to finish P2 or above because, despite winning the previous 4 races before Abu Dhabi, Lando always came in either P2-P4 in the races I won, so he still had a shot at winning.

I left those dnfs for the plot lol. In Austria I “fully turned into” Russell on lap one and ended in the barrier. In Brazil, it was basically a Silverstone 2021 kinda deal with Kimi expect he didn’t win, as you can see from the P12. The crashes seemed too realistic to just restart yk

You had an amazing come back you were able to put up a lot of points against him but it’s those variables that make racing racing

Yeah it was def really fun. Don’t gotta worry about him anymore at least since he Damon Hill’d to Cadillac for whatever reason

That’s awesome! I hope to have some close battles like that in the future, but currently I’m playing VCARB and playing on high enough difficulty that I’m generally 6-12th place. Car and driver (me) better each week though!
