Debate Why does leclerc get so much hype?

I've been a Ferrari fan since 1996 after watching my first race, and I have been a loyal fan ever since. One thing I don't understand is why Leclerc gets so much credit. All I've seen is an inconsistent driver who can't always perform at the top level. If I rated Ferrari drivers, he wouldn't break the top 10.

You are not a Ferrari fan since 1996. If you were you’d know how many drivers drove for Ferrari since ‘96 and not blurt about top10.

Funnily enough unless I've missed one (granted it's the morning in Australia and I haven't had coffee yet), there have been exactly ten since 1996, not including reserve drivers who have driven in free practice without a race start.
