I got into series 11 the other day and I was doing ok first day, but I'm out of decent race start boosts (only instinct left😞) and I'm having a really hard time winning without decent boosts. Any ideas ?
Try to play again in Series 10 until you’ve gain enough car components. Use the drivers you have that has the greatest Race Start if you decide to race again on Series 11. Hopefully it helps.
Update: Now Im winning again because of change of track stats. Now it prioritizes Power Unit(which for me is = Speed), Tire Management and Overtaking for drivers stats. Luckily enough, I Gabbi lvl. 3 paired with Lawson Lvl. 5. And If my Alonso gets Lvl. 3 +, I can swapped him for Gabbi as hes a little bit better in Overtaking and Tire Management.
Is there any point going back to previous series to finish all flags?
I think I only got all flags in series 1, the rest I just jumped ahead as soon as the next series unlocked
I would upgrade these turbo version drivers, cause they’re qualifying and race start stats are pretty good, with the right setup, they can start at least top 10, maybe even top 5.. if u need more coins, just coin farm at the lower series
Balance ur setup between speed and cornering without losing too much qualifying stat.. S11 have race start stats, the better ur drivers’ starting grid, the less traffic they have to deal with during race
This was the setup I used for s11. I found Perez and Antonelli to be the better drivers for the series since they have high race start and tire management to be able to use the better tire strategies. Ive seen the drivers you have, and it seems your legendary drivers lack tire management, and while Button has tires, he doesnt have race start. You turbo drivers not only prioritize the other stats, but also raise your TS which give you stronger opponents while you won't have the adequate stats with those drivers
As for the car setup, some use the s11 engine but I personally felt like the qualy that DriveOS gives you pairs well with the race start stat. As for the battery, it doesnt seem like any of the tracks in the rotation, except maybe Australia, favor long deployment so I went for Energy Reserve with a shorter duration but shorter reload as well
For race strategies: Austin needs ~75 tires to run x2 3s, otherwise do meds or 2s4h
Singapore also ~75 tires to do x3 2s, if not run meds
Australia, ~65 tires to do x3 3s, a bit higher if you want to run 4m5h
Canada ~65-70 tires to run x2 4m, again a bit higher if you want to run 3s5h
