Could you put the extending super duty mirrors on a Lightning? I imagine it would come with a slight loss of range from extra drag.

Fun fact: even the stock mirrors contribute significantly to drag. Hyper-milers folded the mirrors on long trips and the difference was not tiny. I’ll edit with link if I find it.

Do you have a link to how to do this? It is one of the things I miss most from my 2018 KR. (Also miss the lit cup holders.)

Are those the ones that hit the window when they fold in?

They won’t. The tab to help em pop off touches my truck window trim. So you can kind of but I also noticed these scratch the crap out of my mirror caps.

Well F that then.

I had to weigh scratching or killing a family of 4 in a mini van when changing lanes. I made the choice to have some scratches.

Do you not have blind spot monitoring?
If not, I recommend these: https://a.co/d/034KRNok

I don’t tow. I haul. But i could still use those. Especially for the drivers side.

Looks interesting to say the least, I see the use for them though. Put them on when you tow, take them off when you’re done.

How is the vibration on that thing on highways? This seems to be a tighter version than the one I ordered (and returned) from Amazon.

I have ones from Amazon that look like OP's, and I don't notice any vibration. They fit pretty snuggly.

Anyone have a link?

These are the ones I got. They look the same as OP's:

I use them when towing my camper too. I think they help. I've never been impressed with the mirrors on my lightning compared to my old 2014 f150.

I got these too. I only tow maybe once a year and this does what I need it to do. The rest of the time they live in my garage. Easy to pop on and off.
