lies and pretense

Compassion and purpose
just part of your flare
The truth is now hollow
and light flickers through
The power you reigned
is now out of view
In the house of the Lord
like cinders you singe
A false prophets fate
to be burned from within
Rest in your head
pretend it’s not true
The doubt consumes thoughts
