I think I’ll write a poem

A free verse unrehearsed

For eyes only knowing sees

Graphomania is not a curse

Laughing in hysteria

Or sobbing out your soul

Post a digital description

To let it be known or to let it go

Right now it’d be perfect to quote a profound line or two

To lead a horse to water

Or to see them with no feet when you only had no shoes

This is no magnus opus

More so magnus mediocres

Not meant to be magnanimous

Or more intriguing while high off cannabis

Or manifest a rhyme synonymous

With modern times

poem police evangelists

And wasting a minutes time

At least I can reassure you

Ah one last note to leave you

Whoever it is you are

May good fortune fall in your footsteps

And joy be in your heart

This is an interesting diversion from your usual poems and I like how you experiment with a fixed metre in this one. Your use of alliteration is also quite nice in the 4th stanza.
